A taste of Thalassa.

A summer evening inspired by the Mediterranean, built around the flavours of the sea, fresh seasonal ingredients and the simplicity of sharing good food around the table.

Each dish was prepared for an intimate dinner where the food was meant to be enjoyed slowly, surrounded by candlelight, the scent of olive branches and the sound of the evening.

This is my favourite way to cook: letting the ingredients lead the way, and creating a table around them.

There is something about summer in Crete that always brings me back to the market.

Tomatoes warmed by the sun, sweet peaches, colourful peppers, glossy aubergines, fresh fish, fragrant herbs…

Simple ingredients, at their best.

This is where so much of my inspiration begins — with what is growing, what is caught, what is in season and what looks too good not to bring home.

The kind of produce that doesn’t need much. Just a little olive oil, good company and a long summer evening.

A little reminder of why I love what I do.

For this intimate wedding in Kamilari, I was given carte blanche for the dinner and decoration, with one simple request: simplicity and authenticity.

Receiving these words from the couple means more than I can say.

Creating food, beautiful settings and, above all, memories that stay with you — this is what it’s all about.

Starting from Kalamaki, I’ll take you through the countryside, hills and coast before setting up a picnic for two, filled with homemade food, local flavours and all the little details that make a moment feel special.

A little introduction.

If you’ve recently discovered my page, I thought it was time to introduce the person behind the tables, picnics and dishes.

My journey with food started long before I ever imagined turning it into my work. From cooking alongside my mother as a child, to discovering hospitality abroad, and eventually finding my own way of creating experiences here in Crete.

Today, I get to bring together the things I love most: good food, beautiful places, thoughtful details and, above all, people coming together.
