Apologies to anyone who was looking for my gluten free or vegan goodness today at Eymet market. I am currently out of action due to a freak accident that has left me with injured ribs.

But I am not sitting idle... in between sleeping off strong painkillers and catching up on paperwork, I am having creative bursts of ideas that I am VERY excited about.

I am also going to be appearing at a new weekly market as soon as I am back on my feet. It's a Saturday market... can you guess where it might be?

Today’s Gluten Free Goodness for Eymet market 🍁

Gluten Free • Vegetarian • Vegan

🍋 Lemon and poppyseed breakfast muffins — made with fresh lemon zest and juice — delicious on the go or warmed up. (Gluten free)

Following its success at last week’s market, the Moroccan Silky Tart is back. Soft silken organic tofu blended with grated carrots, Moroccan spices and apricots. Finished with a homemade harissa drizzle and flaked almonds. (Vegan • Gluten free)

Deep filled creamy leek and onion tart, with Emmenthal and crème fraîche. (Vegetarian • Gluten free)

Sausage rolls stuffed with pork sausage meat, apples and herbs. (Gluten free)

🍋 Muffins petit-déjeuner au citron et aux graines de pavot — préparés avec des zestes et du jus de citron frais — délicieux à déguster sur le pouce ou légèrement réchauffés. (Sans gluten)

Suite à son succès au marché de la semaine dernière, la Tarte Marocaine Soyeuse est de retour. Du tofu bio soyeux mixé avec des carottes râpées, des épices marocaines et des abricots. Le tout accompagné d’un filet de harissa maison et d’amandes effilées. (Végétalien • Sans gluten)

🌱 Vegan and gluten free? Don’t mind if I do! 😋 - At Eymet Market this Thursday!

It’s been a busy time in the Petit Four7 kitchen. Developing new recipes, getting ready for Christmas markets and much more. I haven’t had the time (or energy!) to think of anything to post!

I’m now also in French classes three times a week — and they give me homework! 😳😂 Hopefully, soon I’ll be able to converse a little better with my French-speaking customers.

But enough about that… you’re here for the food!

🥐 The famous sausage rolls are back! 🥐

And they’re ready and waiting for you at Eymet Market today.

After a long, hot summer, it’s finally feeling like autumn — the temperature is dropping and it’s officially pastry-making weather again. 🍂

I’d forgotten quite how much hard work gluten-free pastry is, especially flaky puff pastry… but luckily it’s a bit like riding a bike.

So come along and grab one before they disappear!

🍂 L’AUTOMNE ARRIVE CHEZ PETIT FOUR7… 🍂 (🇬🇧👇🏻)

Ce jeudi 3 septembre sera la dernière semaine de notre menu d’été au marché d’Eymet.

Je vais ensuite prendre une pause bien méritée avant de vous retrouver au marché d’Eymet le jeudi 24 septembre, avec un nouveau menu sans gluten aux saveurs d’automne.

Le menu exact reste encore à décider, mais attendez-vous à de belles saveurs de saison…

This Thursday, 3 September, will be the last week of our summer menu at Eymet market.

I’ll then be taking a much-needed break before returning to Eymet market on Thursday 24 September with an Autumn gluten-free menu — the exact menu is still to be decided, but you can expect plenty of seasonal goodness.

🌿 DELICES SANS GLUTEN au marché d’Eymet ce jeudi ! 🌿

Nous sommes toujours sur notre menu d’été — et pour tous ceux qui nous demandent quand les fameux sausage rolls seront de retour… à l’automne ! 🍂

Dès que les températures seront plus adaptées à la pâtisserie, ils reviendront. Des mains chaudes + une atmosphère chaude = des problèmes de pâte ! 😂

A tender vegan patty nestled in a vegan brioche bun with crisp salad, onion frites, vegan cheddar, pickles and sauces — plus jalapeños if you dare! 🌶️🔥
