21.11.2026: WEST HELSINKI DEATH METAL CLUB VOL. 5

West Helsinki Death Metal Club returns for its fifth descent into the grave, bringing together three acts from Finland and Sweden:

ABSENT FEAR (SWE)

Forged in Sandviken in 2024 by members of Menecia and Necshot, Absent Fear delivers fast, primitive and chainsaw-soaked HM-2 death metal in the vein of Nirvana 2002, Entombed and Carnage. Following their 2025 demo, the band has shared stages with Murder Squad, Sorcery and Horndal-and now brings the Swedish rot across the Baltic.

GOREKAUST

Rising from Riihimäki, Gorekaust crushes forward with traditional, heavyweight death metal. Their latest release, ”Fleshcross,” burrows deeper into the band’s bleak and brutal sound. Expect massive riffs, suffocating atmosphere and absolutely no mercy.

CONCRETE ICON

Formed in Turku in 2007, Concrete Icon combines the force of classic American death metal with the cold melancholy of the European underground. After returning with ”Rancid Harmony” in 2019, the band released its crushing third album, ”Voracious Streams,” through Memento Mori in early 2025. Nearly two decades of death metal devastation-and still marching forward.

🤮 DRUMMER AND RHYTHM GUITARIST WANTED 🤮

The GANGRENATED carcass is being stitched back together.

With Luxi (from Whisper) freshly exhumed to handle the bass, the band is now searching for more diseased individuals to complete the next stage of decomposition.

The immediate priority is finding a DRUMMER, based in either Tallinn or Helsinki. But the band is also looking for a RHYTHM GUITARIST to thicken the putrid wall of chainsaw riffs.

We need people who are:

⚰️ Committed to regular rehearsals, writing, recording and live shows
⚰️ Reliable, prepared and capable of learning the existing material
⚰️ Willing to travel between Tallinn and Helsinki when needed
⚰️ Into filthy old-school death metal and deathgrind

FFO: Mortician, Undergang, Xysma, Dead Infection and early Carcass

Apply with an introduction with your location, experience, availability and playing clips through:

Help us drag this decomposing cadaver back onto the stage.

Bring your carcASS and keep on rotting.

PUSKAKISKA 2026 ESITTELYSSÄ: GANGRENATED 🌿👁️

Tallinnasta Käpylään ryömivä Gangrenated tuo Puskakiskalle juuri sitä mitä nimi lupaa: mätäistä, sairasta ja täysin hyväntahtoisen vastenmielistä death/gore-mättöä.
Vuonna 2025 kasattu yhtye julkaisi tänä vuonna debyyttinsä ”Demise Profanation”, jonka maailmassa liikutaan patologisen goregrindin, vanhan liiton death metalin ja ruumiinavaussalin hajuisen sekoilun välissä.

FFO: Undergang, Mortician, early Autopsy, Carcass, Morbific; eli herkkää kesäiltamusiikkia koko perheelle!

PUSKAKISKA 2026 PRESENTS: GANGRENATED 🌿👁️

Crawling from Tallinn to Käpylä, Gangrenated brings exactly what the name promises: rotten, sick and very tastefully disgusting death/gore filth.
Decomposed in 2025, the band released their debut ”Demise Profanation” this year; it’s a dose of pathological goregrind, old-school death metal and autopsy-room madness.

FFO: Undergang, Mortician, early Autopsy, Carcass, Morbific; so a delicate summer evening music for the whole family!

PUSKAKISKA 2026 ESITTELYSSÄ: EXISTENCE 🌿👁️

Existence tuo Puskakiskalle surumielistä death/doomia.

Vuonna 2025 perustetun bändin soundissa yhdistyy doom metalin hitaat ja raskaat tempot, death metalin blastbeatit sekä synkemmät, tunnelmallisemmat elementit. Hidasta murskausta, raskaampaa vyörytystä ja sopivasti hautakylmää tunnelmaa Kiskan iltaan.

Bändistä löytyy jäseniä muun muassa Immeritsistä, N.H.P.O:sta ja Dehumanizerista.

PUSKAKISKA 2026 PRESENTS: EXISTENCE 🌿👁️

Existence brings mournful death/doom to Puskakiska.

Formed in 2025, the band combines the slow, crushing tempos of doom metal with death metal blastbeats and darker atmospheric elements. Slow heaviness, heavier bursts and a properly cold atmosphere for the Kiska evening.

The band features members from Immerits, N.H.P.O and Dehumanizer.
