🌟 Successful Seminar on Strengthening Tourism & Hospitality Growth in Ethiopia! 🌟

Our CEO Yenesew Alene Belew had the distinct honour of serving as Master of Ceremonies and Facilitator for yesterday’s Special Academic Seminar at the University of Gondar’s College of Business and Economics, organised by the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management.

The seminar, themed ‘Strengthening Tourism and Hospitality Growth through Human Capital and Reliable Data’, featured an outstanding presentation by Mr. Yohannes Paulos — a distinguished senior consultant and global hospitality leader in InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton International, Radisson, and major luxury hotel openings in the US, Europe, Asia and Africa for over 50 years. Drawing from his extensive international career, Mr. Yohannes delivered powerful, practical insights on:

The critical need for Up-to-Date & Reliable Market Intelligence Reports (MIR) — daily competitive data on Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR to empower data-driven decisions.

A visionary proposal for an independent Hospitality Training & Development Fund (HTDF) to professionalise the workforce and achieve service excellence.

Ethiopia’s immense tourism potential compared to regional competitors (Egypt, Kenya, South Africa), highlighting our unique heritage and strategies for international & domestic growth.
