It can happen, being an island barely 100km from the African coast, that sometimes the Sirocco blows from the nearby Sahara and triggers this strange phenomenon called Calima.

We were only a few days away from Edo’s due date.
And on top of the wind came a nasty flu epidemic that swept us all away one by one 🥴🤧🤒
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And finally ... EDO was born! 🚼🚼🚼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What was supposed to be a double pregnancy session became a half newborn! 😋

- I listened to their requests, even the craziest ones, and turned them into photos that tell their story

- they were so nervous and after 2 minutes they were already having fun and had forgotten the stress

We did it great! 🙌🏻
And since we were having so much fun and the sun had not yet set, we took the opportunity to do what every child dreams of doing in Fuerteventura: jumping and rolling on the dunes! (adults nooooo... it’s kids stuff... they say 🤪)

And finally the wonderful light of the sunset came too 🌅

Why do I always start at the beach in Premium sessions with double locations? 🧐
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The beaches of Corralejo are located on the east coast of the island and, as we know, the sun sets in the west, behind the sand dunes.
In the hours just before sunset, the beach empties out, the light is wonderful and it’s not too hot anymore 🥵
So I break the ice, give you time to adapt to the camera and my craziness, and then let you shine on the sand dunes when you are already professional models 🤩🌅🤩
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But then we can change clothes? ... follow me 🚨 and turn on notifications so you don’t miss part two ✌🏻

Premium family session with double location. I can see some parents squinting their eyes thinking about how their kids wouldn’t be able to handle 1 hour of photos 😂🤭😂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And if the kids are very small, I’ll be the first to recommend the shorter option.
(no parents get bullied during my sessions 😝)

But you know your kids!
So if you think they can handle it, considering that there really won’t be any boring, stalling moments, then consider this option!

Silvia and Francesco live in Fuerte and we have already shot together two years ago for the arrival of little Ricky.
We plan this new session for Edo’s arrival, we decide to do it in two parts so as not to burden the little one and the mother-to-be too much.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT THE WIND 💨... always wins in Fuerte!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We postpone, a couple of days, a week, then two, the wind doesn’t let up and finally we are one week away from delivery 😳😅😳

He asks for advice in a Facebook group, I answer, I convince him, together we plan:
👉🏻He takes her for a walk on the beach.
👉🏼I pretend to be a tourist taking photos of the landscape.
👉🏽They walk past me, as planned.
👉🏾He kneels down, she doesn’t understand, then yes, she cries, laughs, cries (again, a lot) and then she sees me!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💍And NO, for those who ask me if it is all fake, NO, IT IS NOT!
She knows nothing, the plan succeeds perfectly, but the tears... oh yes, those are very real!
