It took a phone call and a meeting where I literally had no voice to bring assurance and peace of mind for Anish & Jen. 😇🪄

When we first met, their wedding was two months out and stress was higher than ever, especially after they had several attempts to find a wedding planner that would take their "planned-on-paper" wedding and make it real ✨ Easier said than done —but I honestly thrive with a good challenge 😎

Anish and Jen's wedding was not only a tasteful blend of cultures, but a lesson of patience and trust. They trusted that a good planner could execute their vision and had the patience to look for the right one for them. I am immensely grateful and will always keep the memories we made in my heart 💛

This week, I’ve been invited to attend the Topboda Spain Forum, conference dedicated to wedding industry professionals across Spain.

The highlight of the event was hearing , the CEO of La P**a Suegra. His insights were inspiring and energizing, a reminder of why I’m so devoted to this field. Weddings are more than events, they’re embodiment of courage, drive and innovation.

While La P**a Suegra is a top brand in the wedding industry across Europe, I was impressed by Josep's kind and generous spirit, so I felt an urge to give back. After his speech, I've built up the courage to thank Josep for sharing his wisdom with us and I offered him a box of Tortas de Algarrobo, a local treat from Malaga province. He promised to share it with his team. Lo más guay! 🫶🏻

Reminder to always bring a piece of where you’re from wherever you go. 💛✨

If you've been dreaming of your destination wedding and want to jumpstart your planning journey right away, do some research before reaching out to wedding planners just to check your options 😁

Here are three things I would absolutely 💚 for you to know before contacting any wedding planner.

📣 When you buy into a professional wedding planning service, what will mostly benefit you along the way is their capacity to hold their s**t together, to hold your s**t together and everyone else's s**t together 😅

Weddings can be hard, sometimes they bring so much mess in our family dynamics and they take the best of us. Good wedding planners will contain your problems and will assure you are making progress towards your wedding goals!

That is something that I cannot put a price tag on. It's beyond any venue / vendor recommendations lists and any bullet template timeline you can find on the big www 🌐

📣 When you decide to collaborate with a professional planner, you will not get a certain number of hours allocated to your project. 😮

You will get a person or a team working their axx off in order to get ALL the things done! 💥

You will also enjoy their neverending capacity of educating you on each decision, keeping you in check with your vision and budget. 💫

📣 When you're ready to commit to a wedding planner's services, they will not work with their contract in hand. That is why it is soo hard to have every couple in a "personalised" plan/offer and most of the time, why discounts and negotiating our package is a deal breaker... I know, right? 💣

Because, in the end, while we remember why you contracted us in the first place... we will do our job, above and beyond. Of course, limitations and boundaries are good, but most of us just want you to get married, enjoy the most awesome party you can imagine and then go and tell everyone how you'd do it all over again! 🎉

So, if you want to plan your wedding with the help of a wedding planner, pay attention and then trust. the. process.

It will work out better than you've ever dared to imagine! 🤞😍✨

You know what is harder than planning a wedding? Planning it over and over again, like the groundhog's day movie... and trust me, this is likely to happen if you have too much time to spend on thinking about your wedding day. 😅

I see every day in group messages from brides that have started planning their wedding for 2026! 📆 I've seen rocket launches happen faster!

🚀 Seriously, your wedding is supposed to be one of the best days of your lives, but trust me you won't benefit from having three years at your disposal 😉

If I'm going to be completely honest, you will actually procrastinate a lot, change your mind a bunch of times, feel insecure about your decisions, start all over again with different visions in mind, and this will leave both of you drained! 😓

D. + K., one of the boldest couples I had the pleasure of working with this year, decided to include a small piece of their heritage in the wedding.

They set up a lovely photo corner with old tables and chairs passed down from their relatives, beautifully refurbished by the bride’s parents.

A gesture that pays homage to the family members who, though absent in person, remain forever in their hearts.

This simple, but meaningful tribute allows them to honour loved ones who couldn't be there on their special day.

It was a sweet and subtle way to make their wedding truly their own and oh, so real! 💕✨

Although the 2023 wedding season is not over yet, we've already started filling our 2024 agenda! ☕ 💫

And I'm beyond excited and honoured with each couple that chooses us for their wedding journey 💛

Over the last few years, I felt driven in a journey of growth, learning and evolution and every new project that we take adds another layer of development and fulfilment. 🫶

While the wedding industry seems to get bigger and louder, we're getting intentionally quieter, allowing our couples to express themselves as they are. 🔥💍

15 years ago, while we were planning our first wedding (which was a disaster, tbh, but that's for another story to tell), I couldn't imagine how my whole life would be shaped by the wedding industry. 💒 💖

I could have easily quit so many times, although there wasn't one moment when I thought this seriously 👏 😅

I feel ready and eager than ever to play my part and make the wedding industry a bit brighter, more honest and transparent with each event and celebration! 🥂 ✨

🍀 In 2011 I decided to concentrate all my efforts into weddings and I’ve never regretted a day since!

🍀 We currently work in Southern Spain (Malaga and surroundings) 🇪🇸 and Romania 🇷🇴, planning so real destination and local weddings for the most amazing couples on earth!

We fall ridiculously in love with all of our couples 💛

When we get to connect with humans that get clear on what is meaningful for them, we hold space and enjoy the beautiful journey that sits in front of our eyes! 🥹

June started with this intimate chic destination wedding, planned in no more, no less than four months! ✨😲

It was quite an emotional journey and I'm so happy and proud of the amazing day they got to share with their best humans on earth 🥂

I cannot get enough of these two and I am so happy for all the great work all my first time collaborators put into this private and stylish affair! 🙏
