Another Devine long post alert 🤣🤣 ……. As we sit here on this quiet Sunday between Christmas week and New Year, like many I’m reflecting on the year that’s just passed and the one about to unfold. 2025 has been a winding road for me - full of surprises at every corner.
DJ-wise, the year kicked off in Devon with the HTE / Made Artists crew, playing a classics set surrounded by friends, familiar faces and great energy. From there, the year unfolded through a mix of gigs and highlights before eventually leading into another weekly summer residency at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) with the wonderful One More Time Ibiza family, alongside so many absolute icons of the house and trance scene. I also had the honour of featuring on the hugely popular Dexter Jones podcast talking about all my history in rave and how my DJing life came to be as well as do a guest mix for my old radio show home AH.FM
I then joined the Slip Back In Time clubbers for an insane week of classic madness, including another unforgettable Eden show where I closed out the night. I reunited with my Judgement Sundays gang for the brilliant Our House Rave rave in Birmingham, then headed back out with HTE for the huge Weekender on WSM pier - where I got to play a special hard trance set and reunite with so many faces from over 35 years of raving as well as play at the birthday party of one of my oldest raving friends.
Back in Ibiza, I was lucky enough to play again for the Connect Ibiza crew on the boat and at the Itaca Ibiza afterparty. And then… the pièce de résistance - finishing the season with the grand finale of the Kevin & Perry experience, closing out the main room at Amnesia Ibiza. Truly one of the best gigs I’ve ever played. Add to that the boat party with Lange the following day and the Godskitchen afterparty at Ibiza Rocks Bar… what a summer. I’m still buzzing from Amnesia even now.
Beyond the decks, 2025 took me to Gran Canaria, LA, Hamburg, Mallorca, Sevilla, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Barcelona, Birmingham, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Bath, Shepton Mallet and Brighton (twice) - alongside completing my 25th summer in Ibiza, the island I’m lucky enough to call home. I loved spending time with family and friends, celebrating special moments (huge love to Linda & Andy for the wedding of the year, and Lee & Helen for the epic Big 5-0s), and seeing so many people on the island too.
Work-wise, it’s been a rollercoaster in the best way - signing a host of incredible new writers to the truelove roster, attending conferences, meeting and working with some amazing musical legends and having one of my strongest years to date in sync and licensing. As Head of Creative, I feel genuinely proud of the projects we’ve worked on this year - one in particular was a real full-circle moment, and I can’t wait for it to land in the coming months.
October also brought one of my proudest moments: being voted onto the Executive Board of the Association For Electronic Music (AFEM). I’m incredibly excited to be working alongside so many industry legends to fly the flag for rights holders and to help move our scene forward and support those coming through.
Then came ADE… where I managed to fracture my ankle after a fall outside a café (yes, involving a soft mat over a hole 🙃). So the last nine and a half weeks haven’t quite matched the first ten months - but they have given me space to remember all of the years moments and recalibrate. It’s reminded me also how lucky I am to share this life with my amazing husband, who’s taken the best care of me, alongside my fantastic family and friends who’ve propped me up with messages, memes, advice and perfectly timed humour. Special thanks to those here on the island who have taken me to hospital appointments and to my boss who has allowed me to continue working from home throughout my recovery and rehab. And of course, my two puppy boys - who make me smile more than the sun, moon and stars combined - my babies have not left my side whilst I’ve been laid up. 🐾✨.
So that’s pretty much the winding road of 2025 done and dusted!! - and onward we roll into 2026.
I’m starting the year right back at my Judgement roots, playing New Year’s Day in Nottingham on an absolutely stacked lineup in collab with Insomniacz, surrounded by some of my longest, bestest friends and the music I’ll love forever. And then finally it’s off on holiday for a proper reset, more healing, and planning - and hopefully a full return to dancing on two feet again.
To everyone who’s been part of my 2025 story - thank you. For the friendship, the support, the belly laughs, and especially for listening to me whinge over the last nine weeks. I love you all, and I hope to see some of you on New Year’s Day so we can officially get the 2026 show on the road 💫❤️ I wish everyone nothing but love and happiness for the next chapter 😉 ps well done and thanks to anyone who took the time to read this long post. What can I say - I like to write ;-)) ###x
