Throwback Thursday. ❤️

18 years ago I was playing live for Radio 1 in Ibiza from Judgement Sunday’s at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) right in the middle of one of the most unforgettable summers of my career.

With Radio 1 back in Ibiza last weekend, it felt like the perfect time to upload part of that mix to SoundCloud. Pure melodic proggy warm up vibes from the place I spent every Sunday for over ten years and taking you right back to those 2008 dancefloors. I used to do the warm up and the end of the night slots every single week for Judgement - each hour with its own flavor but each track selected for those moments. It’s what I loved about being a resident - my heart still lives in that room trust me 😉

One of my favourite memories from that night was also being asked to choose the Recovery Record that rounded off the entire weekend - what an honour.

A proper trip down memory lane with Judge Jules presenting throughout at a time he also ruled the R1 airwaves. Hope you enjoy the mix as much as I enjoyed reliving it. Maybe you recognize some of the tracks??

After sharing my Ibiza Hall of Fame videos, I’ve found myself reflecting yet again on just how much Judgement Sundays has been part of my story.

This September I’ll finally be making my Butlin’s Minehead debut as part of the We ❤️ Ibiza weekend, playing the Friday night in the Judgement room alongside Judge Jules and Ulybug Music as well as joining a lineup of legends playing across the weekend. It’s one I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.

Judgement has been part of my Ibiza life for well over 20 years. We’ve shared countless unforgettable memories on the island and enjoyed some brilliant UK reunions over the years, but somehow I’ve never made it to Minehead… until now.

It also feels a little bit like coming home. Bath is where I studied, lived, raved and started chasing my dreams, so heading back to the South West with a little slice of Ibiza feels really special.

So if you’ve ever wanted a taste of Ibiza without leaving the UK, this is your chance. If you’re anywhere in the South West (or beyond!), come and join us on Friday night. Let’s bring the spirit of those legendary Judgement Sundays to your doorstep. Dust off your dancing shoes, lose yourself in the music and let’s make some new memories together.

Back at IMS in April, I was invited to sit down and reflect on my 26 years in Ibiza following my induction into the Ibiza Hall of Fame.

Trying to sum up all those years in just one hour is impossible. This island has given me so much - a career doing what I love, lifelong friendships, my husband, my dogs, and countless memories that have shaped who I am today.

Watching it back has also reminded me just how many people have been part of that journey. There are simply too many names, places and stories to fit into just an hour and a few things got edited down too. One of those people I should mention is Big Nik, who played such an important part in my Judgement years and is sadly no longer with us. There are others too (a special shout out to Jimmy and all the Play 2 crew) whose chapters deserved more time than I was able to give them, but please know every one of you I hold dear to my heart having been part of this crazy Ibiza story and the island / music we collectively love so much.

Anyway… I could go on (as I usually do! 😂), but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at the Ibiza Hall of Fame for the invitation and this honour, and to my parents, family, friends, colleagues, music lovers and clubbers who’ve been part of this journey over the last 26 years.

A few weeks ago at IMS Ibiza I was inducted into the IbizaHallofFame .

It’s taken me a little while to share this news as I’ve never found it particularly easy to talk about personal accolades, but I’m really proud of this one.

Ibiza has been my home for the past 26 years and has given me a lifetime of friendships, opportunities, adventures and memories. To be recognised in this way by an island and community that have meant so much to me is truly special.

Huge thanks to AI Help and Clara Griffin for the interview, for taking the time and space to chat about just some of the stories, and for including me amongst so many amazing people who have played a part in making Ibiza what it is today.

I’m very grateful, very honoured, and very proud to be part of it and this will for sure have pride of place both in my studio and in my heart. Thankyou again and thankyou Ibiza xx

Got my vinyl home at last. ❤️

I’ve always loved all styles of music and back in the day when I first came to Ibiza when vinyl was the only option and I was finding my feet playing warm up slots, on the terrace of Summum, at pre-parties or wherever I had the opportunity to play when it wasn’t always possible to play trance ….then I also played house.

Back then I also had huge admiration for Judge Jules who would play a trance set in the main room at Judgement before then going on to play a house set in the funky room. Both sets filled with absolute bangers and I always loved that versatility.

I’ve had a lot of stick over the years for not being a trance purist. Don’t get me wrong - I love trance - the melodies are based on classical sounds I grew up with playing piano and classical albums were the first I actually ever bought. Playing trance has been and will always be my number one love. But….. I love all music…. Full stop 😉
And having these vinyl babies back home with me makes me very happy. And I still love playing these very same house classics through to this day allbeit these days usually on USB;-))

In fact I’ll be doing that today on the Tomorrowland Store rooftop terrace so if anyone is around and about in Bossa and fancies a drink and a trip down memory lane then come join me. About to put “Camels” on the stick 😉 see you there xx ps yes I lost a nail digging through the vinyl 🤣 pps no I’m not a singer 🤣

Last night at ❤️

Great crowd, familiar faces and another brilliant atmosphere at Ibiza Rocks Bar in the heart of San Antonio.

Whilst the tunes may span the eras, playing Ibiza classics in the town I’ve called home for the past 26 years never gets old, and I’m so happy to be back with the One More Time crew every Friday this summer.
