25 years ago to the day we launched an all-female night in Ibiza called Charlys Angelz.

Yes… it was a playful spin on the film.
Yes… some of the flyers were a bit risqué.
And yes… people sometimes thought the whole thing was cheesy.

But behind it was something much bigger.

At a time when Ibiza and the wider electronic scene was overwhelmingly male-dominated, we wanted to prove that women could DJ, produce and play trance music, promote, build a crowd and run a successful night just as well as anyone else. We were two young girls who had arrived on the island ready to take on the world. A little naïve maybe, but determined.

We were lucky to have support from some influential people on the island who believed in the idea - but we also worked incredibly hard to prove we deserved that platform.

Finding enough female DJs to fill line-ups wasn’t easy back then… but we did it. What started as an idea for an Ibiza night went on to run for 15 years, touring the world including clubs and festivals in Australia, Dubai, New Zealand, Ireland, South America, Malta, Greece and beyond.

Many of the women who played for us were already pioneers of the scene. Others played their first Ibiza set at Charlys Angelz and went on to have huge careers.

But it was never just about the DJs.

It was also about the women on the dancefloor - the ones who came week after week, believed in the music, supported the night and helped create the energy that made Charlys Angelz what it was. And in turn hopefully also providing the inspiration that anyone can do the same.

Looking back now, those days feel like a lifetime ago - and that fearless girl who arrived here with her best friend feels very far away also. But I’m incredibly proud of what we built.

To every woman who played, danced, supported or believed in Charlys Angelz, thankyou. And to all the women out there pursuing their dreams, carving their own paths and backing themselves along the way - I see and applaud you too!

Happy International Women’s Day.

ASOT 2012 🤍
One of those nights that will stay with me forever. It was also my honeymoon - I’d got married just two days before.

Playing A State of Trance was a real life moment. The energy. The crowd. The love of trance. I actually cried when I found out I was on that lineup - it had been years in the making. That same year I was honoured to be made resident for the ASOT pre-parties here in Ibiza too… it was really a special chapter and year all round.

I’d have loved to have been celebrating the 25th anniversary this weekend in Rotterdam with everyone - but my ankle had other plans this time 🙃 Am still cheering from afar though :-)) Huge love and respect to Armin van Buuren and to all at Armada Music / the A State Of Trance radio show for building something so iconic that’s shaped this scene globally - I wish you nothing but success for your 25th year ;-)) And of course thank you for supporting me and my tracks along the way - It means the world.

With ASOT heading to UNVRS this summer, it feels special seeing it return to the island. Ibiza and trance have shared something powerful for decades, and it’s great to see that story continue. For me it’s been 26 years of this sound in Ibiza - different eras, different stages, but always the same love for the music that brought us all together in the first place.

Congratulations on 25 years Armin & ASOT. Thank you for everything you’ve given this scene and see you on the island in September 🤍

Already well over a month into the year somehow…and still smiling at memories from welcoming in 2026 surrounded by friends, playing the classics at in Nottingham ✨ Living in Ibiza full time means getting back to the UK isn’t something that happens as often as it used to, but starting the year there was really special.

That’s why I’m especially excited to be returning on May 2nd for ‘s first London show, alongside a proper stellar, trance lineup 💛 Though 2026 is my 26th year of DJing in Ibiza,
London has always been a big part of my journey - from countless nights playing at over the years and so many others across the capital from Turnmills to The Egg - I truly miss those days and every return feels like a moment not just another date in the diary.

I join some proper legends on the bill including promoter and good friend - a full-circle moment after playing for each other across the years at so many events including
Privilege, Ultraviolet at Play 2, the Connect reunion last year, and even a b2b at Cream Amnesia way back when. Not to mention of course , , Will Rees The Space Brothers SWAP Dan Cooper and a lady trailblazing the hard dance skies these days Plus of course very much looking forward to seeing some of the Ibiza Trance Family 🎉🎉

Still working on my dancing thanks to the ongoing ankle recovery 🦶🏼😅 but hoping to be more boat-steady by then - can’t wait to be back behind the decks regardless and to rave Lomdon style. See you in May ;-)))

Another Devine long post alert 🤣🤣 ……. As we sit here on this quiet Sunday between Christmas week and New Year, like many I’m reflecting on the year that’s just passed and the one about to unfold. 2025 has been a winding road for me - full of surprises at every corner.

DJ-wise, the year kicked off in Devon with the HTE / Made Artists crew, playing a classics set surrounded by friends, familiar faces and great energy. From there, the year unfolded through a mix of gigs and highlights before eventually leading into another weekly summer residency at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) with the wonderful One More Time Ibiza family, alongside so many absolute icons of the house and trance scene. I also had the honour of featuring on the hugely popular Dexter Jones podcast talking about all my history in rave and how my DJing life came to be as well as do a guest mix for my old radio show home AH.FM

I then joined the Slip Back In Time clubbers for an insane week of classic madness, including another unforgettable Eden show where I closed out the night. I reunited with my Judgement Sundays gang for the brilliant Our House Rave rave in Birmingham, then headed back out with HTE for the huge Weekender on WSM pier - where I got to play a special hard trance set and reunite with so many faces from over 35 years of raving as well as play at the birthday party of one of my oldest raving friends.

Back in Ibiza, I was lucky enough to play again for the Connect Ibiza crew on the boat and at the Itaca Ibiza afterparty. And then… the pièce de résistance - finishing the season with the grand finale of the Kevin & Perry experience, closing out the main room at Amnesia Ibiza. Truly one of the best gigs I’ve ever played. Add to that the boat party with Lange the following day and the Godskitchen afterparty at Ibiza Rocks Bar… what a summer. I’m still buzzing from Amnesia even now.

Beyond the decks, 2025 took me to Gran Canaria, LA, Hamburg, Mallorca, Sevilla, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Barcelona, Birmingham, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Bath, Shepton Mallet and Brighton (twice) - alongside completing my 25th summer in Ibiza, the island I’m lucky enough to call home. I loved spending time with family and friends, celebrating special moments (huge love to Linda & Andy for the wedding of the year, and Lee & Helen for the epic Big 5-0s), and seeing so many people on the island too.

Work-wise, it’s been a rollercoaster in the best way - signing a host of incredible new writers to the truelove roster, attending conferences, meeting and working with some amazing musical legends and having one of my strongest years to date in sync and licensing. As Head of Creative, I feel genuinely proud of the projects we’ve worked on this year - one in particular was a real full-circle moment, and I can’t wait for it to land in the coming months.

October also brought one of my proudest moments: being voted onto the Executive Board of the Association For Electronic Music (AFEM). I’m incredibly excited to be working alongside so many industry legends to fly the flag for rights holders and to help move our scene forward and support those coming through.

Then came ADE… where I managed to fracture my ankle after a fall outside a café (yes, involving a soft mat over a hole 🙃). So the last nine and a half weeks haven’t quite matched the first ten months - but they have given me space to remember all of the years moments and recalibrate. It’s reminded me also how lucky I am to share this life with my amazing husband, who’s taken the best care of me, alongside my fantastic family and friends who’ve propped me up with messages, memes, advice and perfectly timed humour. Special thanks to those here on the island who have taken me to hospital appointments and to my boss who has allowed me to continue working from home throughout my recovery and rehab. And of course, my two puppy boys - who make me smile more than the sun, moon and stars combined - my babies have not left my side whilst I’ve been laid up. 🐾✨.

So that’s pretty much the winding road of 2025 done and dusted!! - and onward we roll into 2026.

I’m starting the year right back at my Judgement roots, playing New Year’s Day in Nottingham on an absolutely stacked lineup in collab with Insomniacz, surrounded by some of my longest, bestest friends and the music I’ll love forever. And then finally it’s off on holiday for a proper reset, more healing, and planning - and hopefully a full return to dancing on two feet again.

To everyone who’s been part of my 2025 story - thank you. For the friendship, the support, the belly laughs, and especially for listening to me whinge over the last nine weeks. I love you all, and I hope to see some of you on New Year’s Day so we can officially get the 2026 show on the road 💫❤️ I wish everyone nothing but love and happiness for the next chapter 😉 ps well done and thanks to anyone who took the time to read this long post. What can I say - I like to write ;-)) ###x

So here we are in December!!! Can’t quite honestly believe how quickly this year has gone and I’m wounded to have missed November with this ankle injury ….. but I have to say I’m very much looking forward to bringing in 2026 with a bang surrounded by Judgement family and trance friends!!! Join us in Nottingham on New Year’s Day and revisit the music from across all the years that we still hold so dear. I really can’t wait to play also for the first time at Insomniacz and alongside so many of my Ibiza and musical faves whilst also celebrating 22 whole years of DJing on the Judgement decks! A month today - so more than enough time to get your tix and your 2026 trance pants on - link in the comments - see you there 🎉🎉🎉

It’s mental to think it’s been 5 whole weeks since my ADE accident… and that I haven’t been able to stand on two feet since. Even crazier to think that only 9 weeks ago we were bouncing around to trance under the Ibiza sun - riding the waves on the Med for the Floater One More Time Ibiza Kevin & Perry afterparty!

What. A. Day.

A proper reminder of how much we love dancing to those timeless trance classics. 🌊🎶 I’ve been playing on the Nemo boats for over twenty years - literally hundreds of Judgement boat parties - and this one was up there with the very best. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner-in-crime and co-captain than Lange … the man behind so many of the iconic tracks from the film and indeed that entire era. He rolled every wave alongside me and helped make that party absolutely unforgettable.

Can’t wait to be back on two feet - both playing and dancing to these beloved trance anthems again. And you never know you might see me alongside Lange on a lineup again very soon ;-)) 🎉💙
