Makan Enak will cook again for the weekend of 6 June .Indonesian rice tables and bbque pakkets for groups. The picture is from an Indonesian rice table .Served in a top Indonesian restaurant,i would like to visit during my holiday, in Holland .The Indonesian ricetable is invented by the Dutch kolonist on Java .They had Indonesian cooks and they wanted to give the greatest dinners for their guests.So they wanted as much Indonesian dishes as possible on the table.That is why the Indonesian ricetable is also Dutch heritage.If you ever go to Holland ,go in an authentic Indonesian restaurant and enjoy the incredible food .Here in South Spain .Makan Enak can give you the taste of Indonesia .The VOC brought all the Indonesian spices on their big ships to Holland between 1604 and 1800.In Holland they called this era the golden age .In Jakarta in the harbour you can find the replicas of the old VOC ships .I did not believe how big they were till i saw it with my own eyes
