Some weddings feel like stepping into another world. ✨ And Astrid & Kian’s was nothing short of extraordinary.
Two incredibly soulful, sensitive people who have spent almost half their lives together, choosing to celebrate their love in a way that could only be theirs.
At the enchanting Castell de Santa Florentina, near Barcelona, they brought a medieval dream to life, with ancient rituals honouring Kian’s Persian heritage, the grandeur of kings and queens, and a celebration that felt as though it belonged to another era.
Every guest embraced the magic, dressed in breathtaking medieval attire. There were sword duels, fire performances, a parade of the finest costumes, and countless unforgettable moments woven throughout the day.
As a photographer, I found myself transported through time. For a moment, I wasn’t simply documenting a wedding — I felt like a photographer from another century, witnessing a royal celebration unfold before my eyes.
It was immersive, emotional, wildly beautiful, and unlike anything I had ever experienced. The kind of day that stays with you long after the last flame fades and the castle falls silent.
