On the move again 🚘🇪🇸
Over the past two weeks, we’ve travelled from the top of Spain to the bottom, making memories in Bilbao, Almagro (my favourite), Madrid, and Marbella (Playa de Cabopino). Every stop has been different, and I feel incredibly lucky to experience so many beautiful places along the way. ❤️
It hasn’t all been plain sailing, though…
We landed right in the middle of a 41°C heatwave 🥵 and quickly discovered the AC in my car wasn’t working. At one point, I genuinely thought that if the heat didn’t finish us off, we might finish each other off! 😂
Thankfully, we adapted quickly, and this past week we’ve been enjoying a much more manageable 30°C. 😎
For me, this really is the trip of a lifetime.
Driving on the “wrong” side of the road, with the steering wheel on the “wrong” side of the car, challenges me every single day. A few years ago, fear would have stopped me from even trying. Now I’ve learned that courage isn’t about not being afraid, it’s about feeling the fear and doing it anyway. 💪🏼
Waking up each morning to sunshine and blue skies reminds me that every challenge is worth it.
Tomorrow we’re heading to Almería for a few days. Ollie has discovered a love for snorkelling, and I think I’ve found the perfect little cove where he can explore the magic beneath the surface. 🌊🤿
