🌼 Spring is in full bloom, and Volume 9 of House of Others lands on a holiday in Berlin. With many of you likely taking Friday off, this is the perfect excuse to stretch the night a little longer. If you’re staying in the city, this is your invitation: come dance with us.

On April 8th, Others to the Front will explore softer sides and deeper sounds as we host our first ever night at Kwia. Come recover from the extended Easter weekend and cuddle up with our residents and along with special guest as they take you on a sonic journey through the wormhole and back. Entry is sliding scale from 8-12 euros, with no one turned away for lack of funds.

Kwia is a unique space on Maybachufer welcoming artists of all mediums and genres to experiment with sound and texture on the softer end of the spectrum. Pillows will be provided. We look forward to hosting you there 🌌

🪩 With our unconditional host Materia Hache holding the space, we continue building a night rooted in care, movement, and collective joy. On this occasion, we are joined by two guest DJs as we gather once again to celebrate house music like a feeling.

Her sets weave unexpected beats, fluid transitions, and productions by close friends who share her vision. Desde el comienzo de la música electrónica en los años 80, los jueves fueron la clave para el refugio contracultural y el espacio seguro de las comunidades q***r, racializadas y disidentes.

Los jueves nunca se presentaron como “la gran noche” y siempre fueron un laboratorio con menos presión comercial y más libertad, donde nacieron escenas y sonidos que no encajaban con el mainstream del fin de semana.

Es por esto que el jueves 26 de febrero llegamos desde Berlín a Barcelona y ***r_vinyl_night para proponer una noche de rabia bo***ra, de ruido y resistencia.

Others to the Front llega con su apuesta por la autogestión, el apoyo mutuo y la acción colectiva desde la música porque bailar también es una forma de decir no al sistema que nos quiere paralizades.

Q***r Vinyl Night aterriza por primera vez en Berlín, trayendo su amor por el vinilo, los ritmos EBM, synth, italo, acid, electro y techno, y una manera de entender la fiesta como espacio q***r y rebelde.

El lineup estará completamente fuera del binarismo de sexo/género y, a parte de .x y , tendremos tres invitades muy especiales:

Desde Philly, .redacted debuta por primera vez en Europa, cruzando los mares, y junto a las locales y traerán su eclecticismo más macarra para sumarse a una noche que conecta escenas, ciudades y formas de entender la pista de baile.

Prepara tu kit de baile disidente, rebelde y delincuente porque venimos a hacer inolvidable este baile con sonidos que desplazan para juntarnos. Un jueves distinto porque los jueves también pueden arder.

De Berlín a Madrid deseamos transformar la noche, al menos por unos instantes, para que el ritmo, las cuerpas y la diversidad tomen el centro de la pista de baile. Una fiesta donde celebrar el camino recorrido, pero sobre todo la alianza, generando una fuerza común que solo sucede cuando proyectos independientes se conectan y se refuerzan entre sí.

✨Contamos con los dos espacios de en el club estará con su residente y dos invitadas especiales desde Berlín que debutan por primera vez en Madrid y harán magia con sus vinilos: y .x

Con residencia en Berlín, Others to the Front es un colectivo que entiende la pista de baile como un lugar para la otredad, donde poder reconocerse y reclamar el espacio donde formar comunidad, poniendo en el centro a quienes durante mucho tiempo han quedado al margen, usando la música como punto de encuentro y transformación colectiva.

Con esta alianza, INNATA celebra su primer aniversario tendiendo puentes entre escenas que comparten una misma manera de sentir y vivir la noche. Lo que comenzó como un impulso instintivo por habitar la pista desde la autenticidad, hoy se expande hacia el intercambio, el reconocimiento mutuo y la construcción conjunta.

Materia Hache is a q***r Berlin-based DJ, part of a new generation that still wants to make
politics through the sound, the dancefloor and the mix. Founder and promoter of
and curator of their series Also

They define themselves as a House DJ, understanding the genre as something dynamic and
fluid. Their sound mixes old-school and new-school from 120bpm up to 135bpm, constantly
trying to capture the heartbeat of the dancefloor. You will dance to a range from jackin’
techno to Underground House, from the deepest to the most uplifting beats, always in
search of the groove and dance. They understand the DJ Booth/Dancefloor relationship as
elements that communicate and travel together, both part of the same thing. Nobody is more
than anybody on the dancefloor. Through their DJ sets they fight in order to create a
dancefloor that deserves to be danced, giving visibility and voice to the FLINTA&POC
community.

We can’t wait to share with you our guest DJ Triqi -

Raised and based in Berlin, Triqi first kicked off her DJ career in Amsterdam’s vibrant local scene. She found her creative home with collectives like Paradisco, BLVSH, THF Radio and the Berlin branch of the South Asian collective Daytimers. Her soundscape is a tapestry of deep, groovy house, interwoven with threads of garage, disco, breaks, bass or electro, crafting a rhythmic sound that is both soulful and playful.
