I should have sent this note earlier and for that I apologise. There was so much happening at the end of our holiday that it slipped my mind. We are now all back in our homes, and it is timely to reflect on our week away. Everyone agreed that the meal and evening you gave us last Thursday was one of the highlights of a truly wonderful week and a fitting way to celebrate our Golden Wedding. The meal you gave us and the ambiance you created was such a treat that I know that we shall be talking about it for many years to come. I would also like to sing the praises of your near silent helper Thomas. The service was seamless and the kitchen was left as if you have never been there! If you need any further endorsement, please let me know. Otherwise, may I wish you every success in your future endeavours – you deserve it.
