Twice makes it a tradition, right? Tomorrow, my aunt, uncle , and I are playing all night at for the second year in a row. You heard it - all night! All-nighters always provide a form of leveling up selection-wise, so I am pumped and afraid. I hope you come and support and demonstrate that sweating in a basement can also be a summer activity. Hehe do you know that feeling when you’re listening to your own mix and you think “ah how nice, I love these tracks and they do go well together?? I just listened back to my recordings for the last dublab show show and felt something like that.

I think I initially wanted a big party summer mood, but sometimes that doesn’t workout and it became a much more slow cooker of a mix. Starting on La Monte Young and ending on a Sasha remix. I hope you check it and like it.

Hoy tenim les mes guapes taking over Fred i Calor. Marta and Marina have in a flash won the hearts and legs of Barna with their selections of UK oriented house, emotional bangers, secret napkins and a many hours of listening and dancing communicated though their selections.

They are one of the main reasons why it’s so lovely to call Barcelona home and I am very very happy to present this guest mix today! Streaming at 18.00 on .cat and later link in the link place 🎠

Some weeks ago, I won Kirby in a claw machine and contributed with a remix for Soft Pxrn’s Raver Equation remix EP alongside , , and . I love the original, and I am super proud of the remix and thought it was fun to share some process thoughts. Could’ve been a reel, but oh well.

put me on to , where their tools for speech enhancements come up with the most beautiful and breathy hallucinations when faced with input audio that doesn’t contain vocals.

This became the basis of the track, where I processed the parts from the original track in voice-like manners, noodled away, and put a pretty keyboard on top. The main hook is the bassline treated while the percussions and textures also stem from the stems fed through speech enhancement and then further processed.

The process felt like carving, and with many iterations, I have a remix that I am really, really happy with. Absolute biggest of thanks to for multiple sessions of invaluable feedback and inspiration, to and for tireless ears and tips, cute feedback and the people that have been supporting the track. And of course, biggest kiss and thanks to Petra for asking me to contribute to the EP. Big, smily clam face out.

Immersed in Berlin’s underground music scene , eric.a is also part of the team organizing Daycare, a party reshaping clubbing experience by fostering community and embracing radical niceness.

Some of the main aspects of dj’ing is studying, digging, and SHARING music, and I am therefore very, very happy to have Fred i Calor on dublab.es guested by dj, drummer, musicologist, and big sharer of music: Okine. A jewel of the Copenhagen music scene, Okine is driven by moving people in the dance with an ever-surprising genre-fluid mix spanning from bass music, broken beat, to gritty house over syncopated techno, drum-centered detours, and beyond.

Aside from playing music and dj’ing, Mikkel runs Music for Sharing which, through almost 50 episodes, has been a center for sharing of playlists and hidden gems and a big, big must for anyone trying to make their playlists less algorithmic.
