KIDS MINI PHOTOSHOOT DAY!

Sunday, November 15

15 minutes of fun, fresh portraits celebrating your child and their one-of-a-kind personality. No smiles required (but often included!).

Babies, toddlers, big kids, tweens, teens. All ages welcome, except newborns. Little ones just need to be able to push up on their bellies enough to have their portrait taken independently.

Siblings are welcome too! Book one session per child, and we’ll make sure to get some photos of them together as well.

The details:

Sunday, November 15
15 minutes per child
700 kr per child, including 3 digital images
My studio in Østerbro, Copenhagen

Sessions are booked back-to-back with no buffer time, so please arrive ready for your scheduled slot.

The festive season is sneaking up on us! November is the perfect time to update those family photos AND have your finished images back in time for cards and gifting.

Fun, playful, and full of personality. We start with timeless family portraits, then bring out the tinsel and silly hats for a little festive fun if you’re up for it!

I’m Rebekah, an American photographer living in Copenhagen. My background is in fashion and editorial photography, and I bring that same creative eye to my portrait studio in Østerbro. A few images from August, when I opened my studio for my annual complimentary breastfeeding portraits.

I started this project five years ago as a celebration of breastfeeding and a way to give back a little to moms in the thick of it.

Last year I started adding another part to the project, sitting down with each mom for a little chat about her breastfeeding experience. I’ve loved hearing how different every story is, and I’m excited to start sharing some of them here.

Motherhood sessions aren’t just for moms with babies. All moms, regardless of their age or their kids’ ages, deserve awesome photos with their kids.

Maybe your older kids aren’t thrilled about a photoshoot, but is that really so different from the toddler who just wants to run off and play?

CELEBRATING NATIONAL BREASTFEEDING MONTH

For the past 4 years, I’ve celebrated National Breastfeeding Month by opening my studio for free breastfeeding motherhood sessions.

This year I’m doing it again 🤍

I’m offering short motherhood sessions celebrating you, your baby, and your breastfeeding journey.

The session is free and includes your choice of 1 image. Additional images can be purchased at my normal rates.

Sessions will be held on:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28
MONDAY, AUGUST 31

Spots are limited.

If you’re interested, please message me with:

• Which date(s) you’re available
• Your baby’s age and usual nap time
• Any other time constraints

I’ll try to fit in as many moms as possible, but I usually receive a lot of interest and unfortunately can’t accommodate everyone.

A little important note:

These sessions are more than an opportunity for free photos. They’re an invitation to celebrate your breastfeeding journey and share a little piece of your story with me.

By taking part, you agree that images from your session may be shared in my portfolio and used to advertise my work.

If you’d prefer to keep your images private, you’re always welcome to book one of my regular motherhood sessions, where there is no requirement for your images to be shared publicly.

The secret to getting awesome photos…

Hand your kids the camera.

This summer as we’ve been out exploring as a family I’ve started adventures by handing each of my kids a camera (8, 5, & 2). The direction I give is take photos of our day and take lots of ME. The kids are so proud and excited to carry their own camera and having it out means everyone is taken more photos during the day (including my husband who helps the kids with their mission). It’s a win for everyone!

Week recap 🧡🩵🩷 My 7 year old said my job is so cool because it’s mostly hanging out with friends, he’s not wrong. Of course there is A LOT of actual hard work and plenty of boring work involved too but I feel pretty lucky when a week looks like this.
