Tunghør is a Copenhagen based techno collective that was founded in the summer of 2018. Our vision is clear and simple: we want to bring a sound to the Copenhagen techno scene which wasn’t already there. The backbone in our sound is functional techno, and to put that into further context it is positioned somewhere in the middle between the infamous “Copenhagen fast techno” and the deep / melodic techno sound. We strive to create an atmosphere and vibe at our parties where everybody feels welcome. A Tunghør party is a place where you can let go of your daily thoughts & worries, and just be part of the dance floor. We always try to put our mark on the visual aspect of the venues and clubs we work with, so even if it’s a place that you already know, it will look and feel different when we’re involved.
Over the years we have been doing parties at the following venues and events: Culture Box, Ved Siden Af, Distortion Festival, KB18, Basement CPH, and H9.
