The bad one: the last concert of the season is approaching 🥲
The good one: we’re ending it in the best possible way, with Albin & Tony!

HyggeConcert #7: Ola Duo🕯️

Ola Duo is an unusual flute-cello ensemble formed in 2024 by friends - Polish cellist Aleksandra Lyczba and Spanish flutist Mònica Tort. Having first collaborated in 2022 as part of larger ensembles, Aleksandra and Mònica decided to create a duo, combining the deep sound of the cello with the bright timbre of the flute.
One of the most interesting aspects about their work together is searching the repertoire. Having relatively few original compositions scored for flute and cello, they constantly search for music that can transfer their artistic ideas.
This concert specifically focuses on fulfilling the potential of the duo. Mònica and Aleksandra invite the audience to a journey through genres, styles and cultures, showing the variety of sounds and colours they can create.

Join us in a Free concert with Louise Schrøder, a pianist and composer.
In this concert, we will hear her Piano Concerto “Jeg Ser Dig” together with the violinist and collaborator, Selma Trammitzke. 🎻
This piece explores how each of us interprets a story in different ways, depending on where we come from and where we are now. The concert includes a narrative, which is displayed as a text on a large screen as an integral part of the concert. Like a film script and score, but without the film. It’s up to the audience to create the film in their imaginary vision.🎬

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Emilie and Clemente invite you into an evening of Lied music by women composers.💜

Through these works, Emilie and Clemente explore love, partnership, ambition, and the realities behind the music. What did it mean to be a woman composing in the 19th century?

Having performed together for many years, Emilie and Clemente bring warmth, honesty, and deep connection to this concert. The evening is both a celebration of extraordinary female composers and a reflection on what it means to be a woman in music — then and now.
