Mit großem Bedauern müssen wir euch heute leider mitteilen, dass das HiRock Festival auf der Loreley und im Chiemgau in 2014 nicht stattfinden wird. Die Gründe möchten wir euch nicht vorenthalten.
Unser Festival ist strukturell auf eine gelungene Mischung aus exquisiten Headlinern und weiteren Weltklassemusikern ausgerichtet. Für 2014 waren alle unsere Bemühungen leider fruchtlos: wir konnten bisher keine adäquaten Headliner ins Boot holen, mit denen wir das HiRock Festival wie geplant durchführen könnten.
Seit Ende 2012 ist viel Arbeit und Herzblut geflossen, um die Marke HiRock ins Leben zu rufen. Es ist uns noch immer ein wichtiges Anliegen, das HiRock zu etablieren und weiter auszubauen, um euch eine erwachsene Alternative zur bestehenden Festivallandschaft in Deutschland bieten zu können. Wir glauben daran, dass ein reines Classic Rock Festival hierzulande gewünscht und gebraucht wird – ein Glaube, der sich im Dialog mit euch, liebe Fans, auf verschiedenen Wegen zu einer Gewissheit verfestigt hat. Dies bedeutet aber auch, an manchen Stellen lieber einen überlegten Schritt zurück, als zwei blinde Schritte noch vorne zu gehen.
Deshalb werden wir 2014 auch “nur” aussetzen und alles in unser Macht stehende tun, um für 2015 in eine zweite Runde zu gehen. Bereits gekaufte Tickets werden selbstverständlich bei der jeweiligen Vorverkaufsstelle zurückerstattet.
Wir haben uns diese Entscheidung nicht leicht gemacht, halten sie aber für den in dieser Situation fairsten Schritt. Viele von euch stecken bereits in ihrer Urlaubsplanung und mit jedem Tag kommen weitere dazu. Wir wollen euch nicht länger ein unsicherer Aspekt in diesen Planungen sein. Wir wissen, dass sich dies für viele von euch etwas hingezogen hat und das tut uns leid. Wir stehen mit vielen HiRock-Fans im Mail- und Telefonkontakt und mussten sie bis heute leider immer wieder auf ungewisse Zeit vertrösten. Die Kommunikation wird sich von unserer Seite weiterhin verbessern, auch wir lernen dazu ;-) An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns noch einmal für die Geduld und das Vertrauen bedanken.
In der Hoffnung, dass ihr uns auch weiterhin die Treue haltet, werden wir die Zeit bis 2015 nutzen, um wieder Headliner zu gewinnen, die euch gerecht werden.

We deeply regret, that the HiRock Festival at the Loreley and in Chiemgau will not happen in 2014. We won't withheld the reasons for that. As a festival we have the aspiration to present you a felicitous mix out of exquisite headliner and further high profile artists. Our efforts to enlist a headliner for 2014 and therefore realise HiRock as planned, were unavailing.
Since the ending of 2012 we put a lot of effort and time to initiate the label HiRock. It is still an important desire to establish and expand this festival and therefore offer an adult alternative to the existing festival landscape. We believe, that a true classic rock festival is wanted in these parts – a persuasion that established due to the dialoques with our fans in many ways. But this also implies, that we have to make a well considered retrograde step at some point, before we go two blind steps forward.
Therefore, we will "only" intermit the festival in 2014 and do everything in our power to go for a second round in 2015. Purchased tickets will be refunded at the respective box offices of course.
We didn't make the decision easy for us, but we are convinced that this step is the fairest. Many of you are in the middle of holiday planning and every day there will be more. We don't want to be an uncertain aspect in this anymore. We are in constant mail and phone contact with many HiRock fans and had to put all of you off from week to week. Of course, we will continue improving our communication, that’s a promise ;-) At this point we would like to thank you for your patience and trust.
In the hope that you hold your faith with us, we will devote this time until 2015 to gain headliner, that live up to the expectations.
