A Heartfelt Pause on Newborn Photography
A Journey So Close to My Heart
People often ask me what kind of shoot I love the most. And my heart always whispers—newborns 👶✨
For the past 6 years, I’ve had the joy of being part of some of the most beautiful, life-affirming moments—holding babies just a few days old, witnessing the quiet strength of motherhood, and feeling time stand still in that tender presence.
It wasn’t just photography. It was growth. It was emotion. It was a gift.Every newborn I photographed taught me something—about love, stillness, and becoming.
The Quiet Realization
Almost 60% of the shoots I’ve done have been newborn sessions. That says everything about how much this work has meant to me
But over time, I realized something.I had put aside my original dream—the one that made me pick up the camera in the first place.
The past year made me pause.I started feeling like I was doing the same designs, the same setups—over and over.I knew I could push boundaries, change it all up.But something inside told me—it’s time.Time to return to my purpose.
Saying Goodbye (For Now)
In the last 8 months, we’ve done
just one newborn shoot. We’ve been quiet on social media,
not responding to many inquiries, because in our hearts—we already knew.
So today, I’m saying it clearly:I will no longer be doing newborn photography.
It’s a decision that comes with a heavy heart.Maybe in the far future,
I’ll take on one or two sessions, if life allows…But for now, I’m gently closing this chapter.
Thank You for Everything
To every parent who trusted me with their little one, to every tiny soul
who unknowingly changed me—Thank you.
The person I am today is shaped by those sacred, quiet, magical moments.
The love, the patience, the tiny fingers wrapped around mine…
It’s been priceless.
Maternity shoots and other creative work
will still continue, but newborn photography.that will forever hold a soft, special place in my heart.
With love,Jaggu
