More than ever, brides are choosing custom gowns to bring a deeply personal touch to their wedding day.
For me, designing a custom gown wasn’t just about tailoring—it was about crafting a piece that felt entirely my own. When it came to my wedding dress, I knew it had to be , I’ve admired Karin’s (creative force behind Ritual Unions) craftsmanship and passion for years.
We began with an inspiration board, refining a silhouette that felt romantic, fashion-forward, and timeless. I wanted something that highlighted my figure while still feeling soft and ethereal. Through multiple fittings and design sessions, we fine-tuned every detail, from the draping of the tulle to the structure of the corset. One of my favorite unexpected elements was the addition of long, floor-grazing tulle sleeves—dramatic for the ceremony but easily removable for the reception, allowing for a subtle transformation.
The experience of working with Karin, shaping my vision over time, and seeing it come to life in a way that felt entirely my own was unforgettable.
For brides considering a custom gown, my advice is simple: find a designer you trust, embrace the journey, and allow yourself to enjoy the creative process. The result will be more than just a dress—it will be a piece of you.🤍
