With 233 days to go until the next edition of Caerimonia Nidrosiæ, the anticipation is already building. After multiple sold-out editions, this black metal tradition continues stronger than ever; a ceremony for fans, by fans.

Once again, the number of visitors from outside Norway is staggering, with 54% of tickets sold going to fans from abroad. We’re incredibly proud to see this “little festival that could” grow into a true international hub for black metal devotees worldwide. Eternally grateful to every single soul who shows interest and support.

Lastly, several bands affiliated with Terratur Possessions are hard at work on new releases, with the aim of turning the festival into a genuine celebration of new music while delivering the passionate and devoted black metal experience that has defined its four critically acclaimed editions.

- EUROPEAN TOUR 2027 ANNOUNCEMENT -

The Brazilian titans POWER FROM HELL (BRA) are returning to Europe in April-May 2027.

Joined by Devastator (UK) and Nocturnal - Unholy Thrash Metal (GER) on different legs, this tour delivers strong black thrash packages. Additional special guests Nocturnal Witch (GER) and Hexecutor (FR) will join on selected dates along the routing.

POWER FROM HELL will present their upcoming new album PRIMORDIAL DISOBEDIENCE (out next year via HELLS HEADBANGERS), along with other classics of their early years.

With great regret, the show of Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult, Baxaxaxa, and Temple in Trier on May 9th has been canceled.

This was not an easy decision for us, but due to organizational reasons on the promoter’s side, the event cannot take place as planned.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the show. Ticket refunds will be processed automatically via Eventim and have been arranged by the promoter.

If you don’t want to miss Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult and Baxaxaxa that weekend, you can catch them at Ancient Heretic Gathering II in Kortrijk on May 8th !

Caerimonia Nidrosiæ Festival returns for its 5th chapter, inviting fans to experience the best of contemporary Black Metal in the city of Trondheim, a location organizers are proud to call home. The festival offers more than just music: over two days, attendees will enjoy six carefully selected bands, the traditional record fair, exclusive merchandise, and curated recommendations for locations of interest related to both the city and the festival.

THE LINEUP
As in previous years, the lineup combines local bands with artists who have collaborated with the festival over time, many associated with the Terratur Possessions label. This edition welcomes back MARE and WHOREDOM RIFE, two monoliths of Black Metal from Trondheim, Nidaros. SYN, who debuted at Caerimonia Nidrosiæ two years ago, also returns with a new record set to release later this year, promising peak performance throughout.

LVCIFYRE will perform their first-ever gig in Norway, bringing their titanic live presence to the festival stage. KRINGA, known for wild and possessed Black Metal shows, delivers another forceful performance, while THRONE OF KATARSIS, a classic Norwegian Black Metal band, returns after more than a decade-long hiatus.

THE VENUE
The festival takes place at Byscenen, one of Trondheim’s oldest and most professional venues, located in the heart of Nidaros. The venue provides food, bars, music, and DJs from opening to closing and is within a short walking distance of the city’s main attractions, including the Nidaros Cathedral, only four minutes away.

Caerimonia Nidrosiæ is fully organized by Terratur Possessions in collaboration with Byscenen.
