The whole world seems to be in physical and mental lockdown these days. KNRD also kept quiet, not sure how this pandemic will evolve …
Tomorrow Drunktank should have visited Nuremberg together with Heathcliff and Money Left To Burn, which of course had to be cancelled.
In May KNRD wanted to celebrate the annual pre-Fest in cooperation with Wasted Openair and with our aussie friends in The Decline on the lineup - cancelled as well.
In the next couple of days the reservation pre-sale should have started and most of the lineup would have been announced by now. KNRD decided to put all announcements on hold for now. At least until it´s predictable which impact this virus is going to have. In these times it just doesn´t seem appropriate to act as if everything is going to be fine.
Is KNRD Fest 2020 taking place? 😰😬
No one can tell today. Events might still be banned in summer and we´ll probably have travel restrictions in place. Not the best requirements for a festival proud of its international lineup and guests coming from all over the place. Not the right time to celebrate at all, really, but rest assured that KNRD is preparing everything to make KNRD Fest 2020 possible.
What can we do right now? 🤔🤔🤔
We can support those most in need in our scene! Those who got directly hit by the pandemic: festival organizers like Manchester Punk Festival, small venues and all the underground bands out there. ✌️💪
To contribute some love and comfort, KNRD made a Spotify playlist with ALL the bands EVER played at KNRD Fest (including those of 2020 edition announced so far)

KNRD appeals to everyone out there to show their support for those and all the other bands in the scene by buying their merch and music. Just like you order Pfeffi shots at KNRD´s cocktail bar (hopefully this summer as well!).
Furthermore, great initiatives got set up by some awesome people. Go watch Quarantunes, livestreams by Manchester Punk Festival or SBÄM and all the other online gig stuff. 👏👏👏
All that shows what a unique scene has been built up over the last couple of years. KNRD is proud to be a vivid part of it and will keep you updated. 🙌
