🌈 PRIDE; WHAT MAKES US SO UNIQUELY DIFFERENT; YOU GURLIES & F*GG*TS made this set one of the wildest! I did NOT go prepared but once I felt the vibe I knew what I was gonna play differently & we bumped and we pranced together, through the DAWN until the sunrise ☀️ Every-time I hear this I remember all of us ecstatically dancing in a haze of emotions, full on freak mode, full on love mode, I couldn’t be prouder. I couldn’t be happier. 🌱 • Bloom of Resolve / A Sajrĩ Poem - 09.11.2024.
When I clear my mind, horizons open,
hills rise, meadows breathe,
Dust scrapes away, shadows retreat,
glimmers bright, dark tides recede.
Hope rises, and grins-my father’s pride,
his rose in bloom,
Mind sharp, yet humble,
wisdom fills the room.
Hope plants realms in the soul,
though kingdoms may fall,
Strength swells within me,
steadfast, standing tall.
Pride, a torch in the hand,
a light in the heart,
Through power regained,
I embody my part.

Rakans bio
Rakan Solomon (born 14 April 1989), better known for his stage name Rakans, is a Palestinian, Resident in Germany, electronic music record producer, songwriter, and DJ.
Rakans started producing from an early age, but his path as a Dj started in September performing Live sets on Wilde Renate, Sector Evolution, Le Depot Paris and other reputable clubs. His wild experimentation and fearless eclectic music selections sent him directly playing for Boiler Room’s Streaming From Isolation Platform and Hör Berlin. His journey so far landed him recording podcasts for Uncanny Valley Record label and the infamous PAG party from TLV. Rakans is also a resident of the q***r collective Popoff kitchen from Moscow.
His music is known to merge various styles, with influences of avant-guard pop and disco roots as well as heavy noise and electro sounds.
He’s also the founder of Rawmantique, a Q***r party in Dresden that focuses on bringing a community of unity and love between refugees, immigrants and locals to break the stigma between cultural differences and other considered “taboo” topics such as s*x positivity.
Rakans’s heavily active in the LGBTQI Rights community, always standing for justice, and injustices that discriminate people for their colour, class or their background.
Rakans is currently working on multiple projects including an EP due release TBA.
