We are shattered and saddened by the war of aggression against Ukraine. We condemn the unjust invasion started by the political leadership of Russia with assistance from the regime of Belarus. We understand it as criminal act of terror against peace, democratic systems and political stability in Europe and the entire world.
So we stand with the brave people of Ukraine, the elected president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Denys Shmyhal government. And we support economic and political sanctions targeted to stop the full-scale attack immediately. Even more so as “fighting N***s in Ukraine" and “neutralizing military facilities” (precisely pictured below) sound in our German ears like the most bogus war propaganda since WWII.
We want to show solidarity by donating 20% of company related revenues generated with record and ticket sales in the current calendar week 10 (March 7–13, 2022). Proceeds will be transferred to Aktion Deutschland Hilft – Emergeny Aid Ukraine.
Furthermore, we will (and already did) discontinue all business activities that could enable Russian & Belarusian authorities to levy taxes, customs duties etc. on our products and payments. We do not wish to contribute just one single cent to Putin’s war. We are aware that this will affect us as well as respected customers, artists and partners in these countries, even if they share our views. But we are convinced this is the inevitable price to pay for freedom and justice – and it’s really nothing compared to the devastating reality Ukrainian citizens are facing every moment.
Of course, we can draw just a micro tiny dot in the big picture. But we do believe (at least hope) the sum of all actions can achieve an effect. So this will be company policy as long as war is ongoing and Ukraine has not regained full territorial integrity and political sovereignty. However long it takes. We will not forget.
