Hello Dears, I want to share a bit of the history of Felix Fönix, my artist name for music, interactive workshops and rituals to celebrate life.

My passion for dancing started when my mum was taking me in 1993 to a psy trance open air. Since then I'm a festival lover: nothing better than a good sound system, passionate people, great music, the earth under the feet and the sky above: either full with stars and the moon, or in the beautiful sun.

Fast forward: in 2014 I became a yoga teacher and started curating tracks for my yoga journeys.

Then in 2019 I created with my current partner the Yoga & Movement Workshop, which was a playful way to bring people together, in conscious movement through space, interacting through playful and fun exercises and yoga. Our successful debut was that year on Wilde Möhre Festival with roughly 100 participants. Inspired by Healing Sound Journeys like Holotropic Breathing and Ecstatic Dance, I created an organic, deep sound to take the audience closer to their heart and into transforming connections. In 2022 we changed the name to "Collective Soul Dance".

One year before, in 2021, I went with some friends into some studios in Berlin to practice DJing. It was feeling immediately natural: even I wasn't playing with my own music, it felt like being home, all worked out surprisingly well.

It took me two more years to finally apply to a little festival on the Canary Islands (where I was living at that time) and played there my first set. The name "Felix Fönix" was born. How all that went, you'll read in my next post. Attached you can find some pictures of the festival workshops. Sending my love and gratitude out there to everybody that made this journey possible! ❤️🙏
