Tomorrow, Saturday at 14:30, I’m giving a belly dance workshop at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need to be a dancer.
You don’t need to be “perfect” .

Belly dance is for every body — every shape, every story, every level, every mood, every gender.

The only rule is simple:
If you have a belly and you can move it, you are welcome.

We’ll move, laugh, learn a little history, theory, stories, and discover how belly dance can be more than a performance — it can be a way to feel your body, free your confidence, and create a beautiful memory together.

Even if you are the shyest person in the room, I promise you’ll leave with a smile… and probably already shaking your body.

Still thinking about this workshop at in Köln

Every time I teach, I’m reminded why I started creating these spaces in the first place. Bellydance for me is not about perfection, experience, or fitting into one idea of what a body should look like. It’s about reconnecting with yourself, with joy, with softness, confidence, freedom, and community.

Seeing so many different bodies, genders, energies, and people in one room — many trying this for the very first time — moving together without judgment is honestly one of the most beautiful feelings. And somehow, by the end, everyone shines a little differently .

As a non-binary performer sharing this dance always feels deeply personal to me. It carries history, resilience, migration, celebration, and transformation. To see it continue living through q***r, open, welcoming spaces means everything.

Thank you to everyone who joined, moved, laughed, trusted themselves, and shared this moment with me 🫶
