I chose the artwork for this podcast cover after recording this mixtape, which is the fourth piece in Kandinsky's 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥𝘴 (𝘒𝘭𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘯) series. Why did I choose this piece? Because I resonate with the philosophy that inspired Kandinsky and soul-express myself in much of the same way via sound:

Likewise, the track Śaddufat - Núnki (Xuqutopi Dubmix) is not only one of my favorites and the culmination of this mixtape but it also exemplifies Small Worlds:

Hug has always resonated with my values and ethics, in which the artists are equal no matter their popularity, where avant-garde music is appreciated and supported, and is a label that shares between the artists and charitable foundations. So, it was an absolute honor for me to be invited to create a mixtape for them!

Like most Cuddle Casts, this mixtape is not necessarily meant for dancing; instead, it is an expression of intimacy, with long transitions and tender layering, weaving moods that invite deep feeling, connection, and a soft return to love.

This mixtape holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. I was invited one year ago to create a mixtape for , which was SUCH a humbling and exciting gift [opportunity] for me! 🙏🏽

Cosmovision is a label from which I have drawn much inspiration over recent years. I admire the artists, producers, DJs, etc who contribute to the organic, unbiased cultural connections and sound expressions of our shared existence that embody Cosmovision. 💫

Over the year, I submitted two (maybe three) different mixtapes for Cosmocast, of which neither was ultimately accepted. Honestly, this "rejection" was not something I had experienced much before when creating mixtapes for a label/podcast. But, I loved it and was so appreciative! Each time I received knowledgeable, technical suggestions, constructive criticism, and thoughtful encouragement that helped me! I looked forward to trying again! 🙇🏽‍♀️
