The Asia International H**p Federation (AIHF) highlighted the growing potential of h**p as a premier sustainable material, showcasing emerging innovations in h**p fibre applications that could revolutionise traditional manufacturing.

Prof. Paul Tsang Wai-kei (THEi 香港高等教育科技學院) took us into the digital realm, demonstrating how virtual garments are transforming design, reducing the need for physical samples, and cutting down on pre-production waste.

𝟯𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀
Also from THEi, Dr. Chan Yin-lun and Dr. Cheung Tin-chun explored the cutting-edge integration of additive manufacturing in fashion, proving how technology can create precise, on-demand designs.

𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
THEi alumnus Nisham Limbu brought it all together by discussing circular design principles, emphasising how the industry must pivot to inherently reduce material use and eliminate waste from the very start.

The future of textiles is being built right now through technology, sustainable raw materials, and circular thinking.

Morton Wang from Sunday Square highlighted how shifting to an AI-collaborative paradigm frees up bandwidth for genuine innovation. Meanwhile, Olivia Lee from LIVVIUM gave an insightful topic on finding your confidence layer through AI sizing, and Joe Ng from Shift Fashion Group reminded us to cut through the noise and focus on real-world applications that actually drive progress.
