IDC EVENTS / 1000 MIGLIA EXPERIENCE / On April 1, 2025, the Guangzhou Museum of Art hosted the press conference to announce the 2025 edition of the 1000 Miglia Experience in Guangdong. Following the success of the inaugural event held in November 2024, organizers revealed plans for the 2025 race. The press conference was attended by more than 150 participants. Organized by the Federation of Classic Car China (FCCC), the press conference was made possible thanks to the strong support from the Guangzhou Museum of Art and the close collaboration of FCCC and IDC, while the decision to hold it in the iconic Guangzhou Museum of Art, the cultural heart of Guangzhou, marks the best auspices, symbolizing the enduring bond between Italy and China through shared passion for automotive heritage and cultural excellence.

IDC AWARDS 2025 / IDC International Design Center (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd has been created to promote the diffusion of Architecture, Design, Innovation in the Greater Bay Area. IDC is located in the Guangzhou Museum of Art (GMA), one of China’s most prestigious institutions, holding dual honors as a National Key Art Museum and a First-Class National Museum.

TIMELINE & SELECTION PROCESS / Key Milestones: April (applications), May (select participants), June (installation), July (opening). Selection Standard: curators and design experts will prioritize Brands with sustainable practices and global appeal. Selection Jury: For the 2025 edition, IDC International Design Center inaugurates the exhibition entitled: “Eco-Sustainable Design-Art”. A selection of the excellence of international design. Guest Designer and Art Director the well-known Italian architect Giancarlo Zema who for years with his studio Giancarlo Zema Design Group based in Rome, has been working in the sector of eco-sustainable design for housing, smart city and mobility of the future.

ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN, INNOVATION WITHIN A CULTURAL LANDMARK / IDC - International Design Center is located in the Guangzhou Museum of Art (GMA), one of China’s most prestigious institutions, holding dual honors as a National Key Art Museum and a First-Class National Museum. The Guangzhou Museum of Art (GMA) is an architectural masterpiece, with its structure oriented to capture sunlight and embrace a lush inner park, with water and vegetation enhancing the environment and natural cooling. The innovative façade, made of twenty thousand semi transparent glass elements with solar panels, creates stunning light effects and generates electricity. Inside, a 40-meter-high central space is illuminated by a glass dome, while the total exhibition area is 80,000 square metres.
