The peonies are sooo close to starting. I picked the first 5 yesterday and soon it will be thousands. Peonies as far as you can see.
I think this might be my favourite time of year on the flower farm.

June might actually be the best month for flowers: ranunculus, anenomes, peonies, roses and that start of sweetpeas!
The weather has not been great for getting things to bloom and we have had less than our usual amount of flowers- some crop failures and some crappy weather. Fingers crossed things are looking better for June and soon we will be swimming in peonies.
This month we will be:
- on (most) Saturdays
- June 18th
- our farmstand Friday- Sunday 11-6pm
- for deliveries on Wednesday throughout the Valley and Halifax area

It’s the last week of our specialty daffodils and we start moving into the anenomes and ranunculus.

Market Update: we don’t have enough flowers to make it to this weekend. The spring weather just isn’t cooperating although my lawn is growing like mad 🤷‍♀️
We will have flowers at the farmstand Friday-Sunday, 11-6pm, or until they sell out.
