Our Story

Better known to his fans as PRZM, Canadian producer and DJ, Jorel Minuk, was born on the East coast and raised on the prairies. His electrifying stage-presence combined with bass-heavy dance music delivers a full-spectrum listening experience which has been shaking club and festival-goers since 2012.

PRZM originally started making music as a teenager, playing lead guitar in local bands. As his musical tastes developed, and with the rise of EDM, he began producing electronic music. PRZM has had a direct hand in cultivating a thriving electronic dance music scene in Canada, participating and playing in festivals across Canada as well as headlining international stages. He also cofounded LUXE Records, who’s releases have been supported by the likes of Ookay, Henry Fong, and Slushii.

Jorel was first introduced to audio production when he recorded his first demo tape with the band “The Greenroon” back in 2009. The moment he set foot in the studio, he instantly knew it was where he belonged. PRZM became fascinated with the depth of the software used to record his track, which influenced him to experiment with production at home. From there, he bought his first DAW and hasn’t looked back since.
