BachStreet BachStreet is a troupe of clever musician-comedians promoting the sublime and the silly by gleefully riffing on the theme of the western art tradition.

Reviews of BachStreet:

“The passion, silliness, spontaneity and sheer
mystical wit of a BachStreet performance had me
falling out of my chair with laughter and crying with
joy.” - Audience member

“The calibre of these musicians, paired with their
incomparable genius and wit makes it hard to
remember that I am still in Winnipeg & not actually in
an SNL sketch. They do this all for you, but also they
think they’re the f***ing funniest people around.” -
Amber Neufeld

“Indescribable, uncontainable. Bachstreet's artistry
brings the very stars out in the heavens. Each
performance has brought me to my knees, where I've
humbly proclaimed: all-powerful, untameable, truly
amazing” - Rachel MacEwan, BachStreet co-director.

“When I think back on performing with Bachstreet, I am overwhelmed by memories that are fantastical and truly inexplicable in nature.” - Christa Jongsma

“I enjoy performing as a part of Bachstreet because it is an ensemble that emphasizes fun as well as musicianship. I enjoy getting to have creative input as a part of a larger group and perform a variety of styles of music.” - Daniel Friesen

Hello friends! We are slowly fleeing the clutches of the M3taverse and will be deleting this page!

Rachel and Anna haven't lived in Winnipeg for several years, but BachStreet will live forever in our hearts, and potentially eventually on Anna's website. Anna is still performing and event planning, if you're interested, you can sign up for her newsletter at abpcreative.ca

Rachel is doing cool things too, just not so much with the internet presence.

Thanks once more to Matthew Karl Veith who made our incredible branding. We will likely build a landing page on Anna's website just to have a place for this perfect branding to live...

Thanks to everyone who joined in for the mini BachStreet concert at CMU Fall Festival last month! It was so joyful to be together again. See you for the next BachSt reunion at the 20th anniversary or Anna's hypothetical one day wedding, whichever comes first 😇

Thank you for reading, critters of the web!
