There is no 2023 reel of the wonders I’ve seen and done. None of that. Just grateful to be alive. Grateful for good health. Grateful for A career that I still enjoy. The world is a very sad place, with millions of people living in terror. Billions of animals suffering horrific sh*tstorms to feed a culture of convenience. I hope 2024 wakes us all up from our apathy—thinking That the problems of the world will be solved by somebody else. The somebody else- is you and me. We need to stop electing imbeciles and letting them throw gasoline on the already burning dumpster fires. Dare to care. What you eat matters. Who you vote for, who you champion, who you support. Everyone deserves to be who they want to be. Love is not just for some people- it is for all people. Judgment is a terrible friend. Let the mirror be your truth. 2024 has to be better.

I am beyond thrilled to announce that Dashin Expos 2023 has raised $8,779.83 for Candlelighters Cancer Support Group (MB)! I want to thank the Board Members and their families for volunteering their time at all three events. Big shout out to Ed Upton for organizing three teams of volunteers. It was a pleasure working with you Ed! Thank you to Naomi Fehr (Head Honch) for her support and guidance throughout these past six months. You are one special lady!

Huge thanks to my wonderful cousin and friend Anne-Louise St. Pierre for her support and for being their whenever and for whatever I needed. I truly couldn't have done this without you.

I would also like to thank the QX Street Team for coming out in June and look forward to having them at all three events next year.

Thank you to Deek's Hot Dog Cart for coming out and for their generous donation. Thank you to vendors V&A Macaron and Soul Vibrations for donating a percentage of their profits.

Thanks to my colleagues Ryan Waterman and Gary Medeiros for volunteering their time.

Thank you to Norm Ettawacappo from the St. Norbert Community Centre and his staff for keeping everything running smoothly. It was a pleasure working with you.

Lastly, huge thanks to all the vendors who came out and of course, to our mascot Marshall (and his volunteer handler Lisa Lane from Pure Romance) for keeping everyone entertained and handing out hugs and kisses to one and all.

I am in the process of applying for my company's (World Financial Group) matching grant and will be posting those results when they come in. I'm working on next year's dates and will be announcing them soon. That's a wrap for 2023. Have a great summer!

I’m thrilled to announce that after five months of trying, I have secured the QX104 Street Team for our June Expo. This is huge as free advertising on one of the top radio stations is not easy to get. Now that I’ve succeeded, I’m hopeful they will become a lifelong partner. I’m still in negotiations so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.
