The World's Only professional female Métis Magician

Chanelle Munroe is a Métis magician making waves as "The Mystical Trickster of Magic," using her performances to inspire positive social change. Her journey is one of transformation—from a loud, rebellious punk rocker to a talented magic assistant and ultimately to a solo performer who debuted in Jamie Allan’s acclaimed Chicago show. Chanelle discovered magic as an art form, a powerful vehicle for self-expression, and a way to spark curiosity in her audiences, especially through her workshops. Renowned for defying death on stage, Chanelle holds the world record for "the most bullet catches executed by any female magician." Her groundbreaking show, Five Ways to Kill a Magician, which premiered at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival in 2023, explored life, death, and the human spirit through daring feats. Chanelle's connection to her Indigenous roots adds another layer of meaning to her work. With suicide being the leading cause of death among First Nations youth, she sees magic as a vital tool for hope and empowerment. As she often says, “Magic has a unique way of opening the mind to believe in the seemingly impossible.” Through her craft, she teaches that if anything is possible, so is overcoming obstacles—reminding us all that by believing in ourselves, we can achieve whatever we set our minds to.

Representation isn't a buzzword. It's a girl seeing herself on the page and realizing: if she can do it, so can I. "This is exactly why I wrote this book." 💫
✨Author Connie Boyd showing "The Power of Magical Women" to Anna, a young enthusiast creating a moment when dreams stop feeling impossible.
✨The magician on that page? Chanelle Munroe Magic — further proof that magic isn't just tricks and illusions. It can be a force for helping others, promoting wellness, and healing. 📖
