And this week is Canadian Flowers Week! To commemorate this special week where flower enthusiasts across the country are celebrating locally-grown blooms, I'll be setting up a special floral photo op section in my booth! Another week, another !

I've got a spot booked at every Fireweed Market for the rest of the season. I'll be there alongside all the other amazing vendors who are working so hard to make sure you can get your fix for all things locally produced 😊

Flower offerings will vary week to week as things progress in the garden, but every week, there will be flowers! πŸ’

It was so lovely to be back at the market last week, chatting with so many folks about locally grown flowers, both familiar faces, and brand new ones. I'm so excited to be a regular vendor for the rest of the market season.

Hope to see you Thursday!

Mixed bouquets full of baby's breath, bachelor's buttons, calendula, and flowering dill.

Mason jar arrangements packed with frothy phlox, velvet trumpets, fragrant chamomile, lacey orlaya, and delicate phacelia.

Bundles of fragrant sweet peas, containers of edible flowers, and straight bunches of baby's breath.

Hi flower folks! I'm emerging from my social media hibernation. Took advantage of having a slow period in terms of having products to sell to do a little social media detox, I was spending too much time scrolling and not enough time creating.

So, here's what I've been up to for the past month or so! We've constructed lots of new bed space, transplanted out all our seedlings which are now growing quite happily, I got to spend a week with my maternal grandparents who live in Ontario, which was an absolutely lovely treat, and I sent out wedding florals on the summer solistice for my first couple of the season.

That's the good. Now for the not-so-good part. Last year, I took a big gamble on tulips, ambitiously ramping up my production levels to nearly 25,000 tulips. Six thousand of those were planted in outdoor beds, and should have been in full bloom from the middle of June until right about now. But instead of being inundated with masses of flowers to bring to the Fireweed Market, I have had the financially and emotionally devastating experience of seeing a 99% crop failure. I'm still reeling a bit from this, but I wanted to explain my absence from the

All my transplanted seedlings are coming along nicely, but it will still be a while before I can be back at the market with bouquets for you all to bring home. I can't wait to be back with tables full of a rainbow of flowers!

Hope you're all enjoying the first month of the summer and staying safe amid all the wildfires that are burning across the territory and the country!

Hi flower folks!

I currently do not have flowers blooming at the moment. After 4 solid months of tulips from January to early May, we're now transitioning to our field-grown crops. Which means I am deep into the real flower farming work, getting beds prepped for planting, building new flower beds, hardening off seedlings, and soon planting!

Our first crops of the season will be our field-grown tulips, which we expect to be blooming in early to mid June. At that point we'll be back at the with armloads of bouquets for you to bring home!

I'll share more information as our crops get closer to maturity. I can't wait to be sharing Yukon-grown flowers with you again!

THANK YOU β€’ THANK YOU β€’ THANK YOU

To everyone who showed up for flowers today! I know your objective was to make sure that you had flowers to gift to the mums in your life, but in doing so, you contributed to an overwhelming show of support for my small business, and it means SO MUCH to me! πŸ’

I was absolutely floored with the interest in these flowers, and to everyone who wasn't able to purchase one because of how quickly they sold out, I am so sorry. I extended myself as much as I possibly could, spending thousands of dollars on florals and shipping and staying up until midnight, making up all the bouquets yesterday. I'm sorry that we couldn't have more flowers for you today! I hope you found beautiful alternatives to celebrate Mother's Day with this year.

And finally, a big thank you to my mother, who has been such an amazing supporter of this leap of faith I've taken trying to make a go of it as a full-time flower farmer & florist. ❀️ Without her generosity in lending me space to make & grow, the 60+ arrangements I put out in the world today would not have been possible. Thank you, Mum!

Mother's Day Offerings!

Beautiful, BC-grown blooms, artfully arranged by a Yukon flower farmer & florist.

We have two different floral arrangements for Mother's Day, available this Saturday, May 10th, at

Both priced at $75 plus GST.

Option one is a deluxe mason jar arrangement filled with cheery yellow lilies, lush blue hyacinths, quintessentially spring tulips, fragrant freesia, berry toned spray mums, a bright pop of pink or white from a Ge**er daisy, lime green foliage, and sprinkled with sprigs of freshly harvested Yukon p***y willow. White paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things 🎢 All set for gifting to a wonderful Mum!

Option two is a hand-tied rose bouquet. Filled with peachy spray roses grown on Vancouver Island, stately plumes of Veronica, lush white alstromeria adds dimension, and vibrant marigolds and Bachelor's Buttons add pops of saturated colour to welcome the incoming summer season! I'll be adding in branches of Yukon spring poplar, bursting with fresh buds, these will add a touch of spring to the arrangement. Carefully wrapped in layers of paper, and tied off with twine, these bouquets are ready for someone to pop right in to their favorite vase. πŸ’
