Vancouver Workshop series will feature monthly workshops by visiting instructors. One weekend of each month there will be a 2 hr public workshop and a 2 hr intensive group offered, rotating genres monthly. We will try to line up workshop weekends with monthly socials so it'll almost feel like a weekender, but much more relaxed, or create our own if there is a gap!

Our second artist for the series in October will be Romy Chevalier, based in Quebec City and blessing us with Urban Kiz focused knowledge from both a lead and follow perspective.

Add-on option! Intensive Training
The private intensive will consist of a group with maximum 5 leads & 5 follows for more focused learning. The intensive will last 2 hrs and aims to get deeper into workshop topics & variations, pushing your level. We will be work at an intermediate level - so this portion is not intended as a beginner bootcamp.
** You MUST take the public workshops in order to take the intensive so that we can build off the first class' material.

Cost: $65 ($90 including the public workshops)

We ask that you self evaluate, but here are some guidelines to help you! There will be an expectation that you are able to confidently lead or follow (depending on your role):
- Basic 2
- Basic 3
- Estrela 90 & 180
- Retrocesso 90 & 180

- Basic opens and closes
- Lead & follow Saida

We're super lucky that Meggie Carpel will be in town early for Unity II this year, and will be sharing with us a class combining the sensuality of heels dance with the groove and confidence of Konpa - this is an all-levels class with the option to film a short choreo at the end. Heels optional.

- Amapiano w Kinรฉ (10:30 - 12:00pm)
- African Traditional dances (West & Central African dances with Queen Auntie Jacky, Rwandan dance with Angelique Muhorakeye, Ugandan dance and live drumming with Edward Sembatya, Live drumming with Yoro Noukoussi) - (2 parts: 12:15pm - 1:45pm & 2:45pm - 4:15pm with a 1hr lunch break in the middle)

Sunday:
