I have never asked for any hand outs in this music scene.. but today I ask for a small help with donations to help replace stolen gear from our last music festival Under The Stars Music Festival 2024 Feat. Stylust, Kytami and Phonik Ops, Thomas Anthony & more and help Social Sound get back on its feet to keep on hosting events.
I know many of you have followed our journey and attended or have helped out with our shows, and we love everyone for it.
I know if we get help from the community we can cover these loses and continue to grow and help the music scene!
A quick recap of our big loses if you haven't seen or followed:
- Under The stars 2024 ( last weekend ) we had the CDJS gear stolen from our second stage late on night 3
- Arrival 2 canceled on day of event due to death in nearby tribe, we respected their wishes and families while trying to relocate to any land in less then 12hrs, but couldn't locate and had to cancel resulting in over 40+k loss
- Sunday Funday Tulum we got extorted by the Cartel on the last day at our Buutsha Cenote Party, DJ gear stolen , bunch of personal property taken and extortion for $$
My goal here is to raise money to replace the DJ gear because it was rented from a friend. We also will throw a FREE event for everyone to give back to the community for helping us out of this rut after!
