If you are like me, at the top of each year you make a small list of things you would like to try or accomplish within the year. Perhaps you would like to live a strawberry life like .chronicles or try a pilates reformer class like myself. Well thanks to .chronicles I found there is a new kid in town that has Pilates reformer, mat, and yoga classes!

is a beautiful space on James St S, right across from Augusta! I am so happy to finally have a space like this in this area of the city!! owner, Tea, who has been practicing Pilates for years, has transformed this space into a beautiful, bright, cozy but not cramped, welcoming, calming area that makes it feel like a boutique studio but doesn’t have boutique prices!

Being that learning Pilates reformer was on my 2025 to-do list, I signed up for Intro to Reformer classes. Firstly, Tea is an incredible instructor, very clear, descriptive instructions, so much so that I didn’t need to see her to understand what to do! Using the Pilates reformer is challenging, however, it really is made for everyone despite their fitness level.

Absolute 10/10 experience. Also when they say Medium Spicy.....I think their medium is my "oh I'm phoning in sick tomorrow". But don't let that stop you if it's your thing, highly highly recommend Perfect Meat Bowl.

No need for this rainy Monday to get you down… help put a little pep-in-your-step by visiting

This lovely, bright cafe, located on Hess, is one of the newer cafe’s in I popped by on Saturday and was greeted by delicious morning scents of coffee and delicious food!

I purchased a chai latte, which was very tasty and on the milder spiced taste for those who do not like a strong cinnamon taste, and a cheddar scone, which was huge, buttery, cheesy, and a bit salty.. which is the best.. iykyk! has a selection of baked goods and some featured breakfast sandwiches.

I was struck by the amazing front seating area, that is full of windows and natural light, and the warmth of the space!

So pop by this week to start off your 9-5 in a happy way!

Last week Alves Meats & Variety posted on their IG about what they called their version of the Big Mac. Battered fish and breaded shrimp with tartar and hot sauce in between some of the best GD bread? Fully on board.

Is it the best photo I've ever taken. No. Is it one of the best things to put in your mouth? Absolutely.

With Spring 🌷now upon us and focus on shopping Canadian, I thought it would be a good time to remind you all how much of a gem that is!

A newer feature at the is the Showcase, bringing in local, small businesses to get more exposure and give us all a chance to discover new delicious creations!! I recently visited the and discovered some new favourites and visited some already-favourites at the Showcase….

is a creation by a husband and wife team, who have created a twist on soda pop inspired by the Caribbean islands. All of their drinks have healthy ingredients, very low sugar, and low carbonation (if you are like me and do not like a lot of fizz). I can honestly say that both drinks I purchased, Lime’n and Guava Splash, are full of fresh flavour and are truly delicious!

Another business featured currently at the Showcase is For those who are not familiar with they are a working dairy and sell a wide range of products, with their newest being coffee milk-which contains the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee and is seriously delicious! Don’t forget that also makes amazing fresh cheese curds weekly! I encourage you to also visit at their location, take a tour of their dairy, visit the cows, play some outdoor games like corn-hole and shooting some hoops while enjoying a fresh beverage or cheese at one of their many outdoor seating areas.

There are also sooo many incredible businesses who call home, like vegan bakery .bake who make incredibly delicious sweet and savoury items, like key lime pie and traditional Brazilian treats; also .hamont who is next door to .bake and bake amazing French baked goods, like this delicious pain suisse. makes delicious fresh, hot food but also sells their sauces to take home for you to create your own adventure.
