Great live music isn't cheap, and cheap live music usually is not great! However, we totally understand that wedding costs can get crazy and that most people have a budget to stick to.

One of the best-value services we offer is a solo instrumentalist + backing tracks (violin, cello, or sax). With a huge library of tracks already in our library (piano, guitar, or full-mix), we can present a very comparable sound to having a live duo, without the cost of hiring two or more live musicians.

We played a custom arrangement of Cece Williams - Goodness of God for their processional, complete with some nice violin + sax harmonies. Sax is a super cool and unique add-on to our sound, and we always love collaborating with Colin!

📸 Morning Light Photography for Sheena & Ryan's wedding at The Gate House in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We brought our portable baby grand piano shell 🎹 and performed during their ceremony, cocktail hour, and did an extra special first dance performance with Randy Travis - Forever And Ever, Amen.

Doing a proper transcription of Metallica - Fade to Black that included all the solos has been on the to-do list for a while now, but the couple asked for it during their cocktail hour and we obliged 😎.

𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧 - Although piano is a huge part of our sound, and was behind the whole inception of The Fox Duo, most people who find us are looking for a violinist to perform at their wedding or event.

Most of the violinists we work with are adept at playing live violin along with backing tracks (including Danielle!), so whether you're looking to reduce costs by only hiring one musician, or get an extra big cinematic-type entrance or exit music sound by using full-mix backing tracks, opting for solo violin can be a great option.

We have a large and ever-growing library of tracks, and are still able to do just about any requests with the plethora of digital audio tools available.
