One of the best parts about getting married is being able to do your engagement session right on the property.

On a wedding day, it’s nearly impossible to explore every stunning corner of this place—but during your engagement session, we can slow down, wander the trails, and capture those extra spots that make Whispering Springs so magical.

It’s also a great way to walk the grounds before the big day, soak it all in, and get comfortable in front of the camera. No matter the season, the photos here always turn out incredible. 🌿✨

Melissa & Niall’s wedding at Whispering Springs was everything magical, nerdy, and authentic rolled into one epic day. From the enchanted forest ceremony to running into golden fields like they’d stepped out of a fantasy novel, these two made it feel less like I was a vendor and more like I’d known them forever. At one point I even caught myself quoting Night at the Roxbury “What if the outside of the club looked like the inside?” because that’s the kind of joy their energy brought out.

It wasn’t just about vows and confetti; it was about belly laughs, hand squeezes, secret nerd references, and the kind of love story that belongs in both mythology and cinema. Melissa’s shimmering gown looked straight out of Rivendell, while Niall could have been leading his own heroic campaign. Honestly? It felt like photographing friends, not clients.

Cassey & Lori’s wedding at Whispering Springs was a day overflowing with meaning, beauty, and love. Their emotional first look on the bridge overlooking the ponds set the tone, two brides seeing each other for the first time, surrounded by the quiet of the forest.

As they each entered the forest chapel from opposite sides, walking toward one another perfectly in sync, the energy was electric. Guests held their breath until they met in the middle beneath the trees, a moment that felt like something out of a dream.

Later, golden hour gave us postcard-worthy portraits in the fields, glowing in the setting sun. And one of the most touching details of the day was Lori honoring her late brother by including his classic car, a timeless tribute that carried his spirit into the celebration.

This weekend’s wedding on Lake Chandos was one for the books.
