POV: you’re a kid and it’s embarkation day on your first Disney Cruise

You see characters and Mickey heads all around the terminal before boarding.

Your family name is announced as you board the ship and you feel so special as Cast Members welcome you on board.

You race to your stateroom to check it out and start decorating the door before exploring the kids club and nursery.

Tomorrow is a ✨Disney Day ✨

I’m headed to Walt Disney World for a few days and I couldn’t be more excited. So let’s pack my bag.

This time I’m just bringing a carry on since it’s such a short trip.

Pro tip: use InstaCart or Target same day delivery for toiletries that are either too big for a carry on or if you don’t have space for them!

Unpopular Opinion:
Free hotel breakfast are overrated at Disneyland Good Neighbour hotels

A lot of client’s start off with FREE hotel breakfast as a must have amenity and here’s why I think it shouldn’t be:

🫶🏼there are so many nice hotels that don’t offer breakfast that you are going to miss out on

🍳the food isn’t that great and you can save more staying at a hotel without free breakfast and using my grocery guide for discounted grocery deliveries to your hotel

☀️it wastes time in the morning going to the breakfast and you’ll usually miss being at the parks before ripe drop. Having a grab and go type breakfast makes in easier to make it through security and waiting for rope drop.

⏰everyone gets to the breakfast at the same time and it’s so busy that you sometimes can’t even get a seat or eat before you want to go. So in the end, you paid for it but may not actually be able to eat it.

💀I’m going to say it….they aren’t the most sanitary. How do you know who’s washed their hands? And I see so many people letting their kids grab food and put it back. The last thing you want is to be sick while on vacation.

A great vacation isn’t made from powdered eggs and stale muffins 😬 and I get that some people say a hotel is only where they’ll sleep at night. But let’s make it a good one!
