It’s been a while—so here’s to reintroducing myself! 👋

Hiii, I'm Lisa—your hype girl, timeline wrangler, and dress-clipper-upper all in one 📸 I photograph weddings, families, newborns, events, headshots—you name it—and I’m very good at handing out way too many photos (you’re welcome).

Fun, bubbly, and just the right amount of direct, I want you to feel like I’m a friend on your wedding day—but know I’m also working hard for you.

I love natural light, earthy tones, textures, cloudy skies, golden hours—and yes, even rainy days (don’t worry, I bring clear bubble umbrellas). I love photographing wild little kiddos being totally themselves—and I’ll do whatever it takes to get the giggles going (tree peekaboo? Weird voices? Silly faces? I’m in).

Based in the Durham Region and working all across Ontario, I also spend time up north at our 72-acre riverfront property, slowly building my name in northern cottage country. I recently traded my fishing kayak for a boat and spend my spare time exploring lakes, hiking, renovating, or chilling with pizza and a good movie. I married my best friend in June 2023 and love doing life together—whether it’s an adventure or just hanging out in sweats.

I also run The Canadian Outdoor Photographer, which since 2020 has taken me from published work in Ontario OUT of DOORS to the Ontario Fishing Regs cover (2024 + 2025!) and a recent campaign with Suzuki Canada.

If you want someone who’s basically a walking checklist, snack holder, chaos coordinator, and professional third wheel—you’re in the right place. I come prepared with backup batteries, umbrellas, safety pins, stain wipes, and just the right amount of sarcasm. I’m not just here to take pretty photos (though we’ll definitely get those)—I’m here to hype you up, keep things running smooth, and make sure you enjoy every moment while I quietly catch the magic.

Had the honour photographing these two just over a week ago. We were lucky enough to discover a park near by the town hall with a beautiful bloom during prime season. Of course, a dog is never left out!😊

These two are tying the knot this September!🥹
Funny enough, I met Kelsi on Instagram through my fishing page. She’s just an hour from our cottage, and in only a year, she’s become such a kind and genuine friend. It’s wild how something like social media—so often blamed for disconnecting us—actually helped create some of our favorite memories together, out in nature where it really counts. more to come!
