ICML 2025 came to the Vancouver Convention Centre, where we had the pleasure of supporting a multi-day conference that brought together the world’s leading minds in machine learning.

The International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) is recognized as one of the world’s leading events in artificial intelligence, with a focus on advancing the field of machine learning. Each year, it showcases groundbreaking research across areas such as AI, statistics, and data science, as well as real-world applications like computer vision, computational biology, speech recognition, and robotics.

We supported over 19 rooms with complete audiovisual coverage, keeping sessions seamless from the plenary to the breakouts. Audiences experienced a consistent, engaging flow throughout the conference, while our team managed the details behind the scenes. From content management to backups and contingency plans, every presentation was delivered smoothly and with impact.

HY-FCELL Canada brought together leading international experts to explore clean energy solutions through hydrogen and fuel cell technology at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

At this year’s International Expo & Conference, our scenic tiles were used creatively throughout the event’s meeting rooms, complementing the audiovisual setup. They provided a clean and impactful stage backdrop that kept the focus on the speakers.

Our in-house designed and made scenic tiles are fully customizable with logos, colours, and layouts, making them a versatile addition for any event!

Good food, great company, and sunny skies all around! Back for a second year, the Proshow BBQ was a hit in both Calgary and Vancouver, with each team enjoying their own fun-filled afternoon in the park.

Canada’s largest digital marketing conference, SocialWest, brought bold ideas, fresh energy, and a powerhouse lineup of speakers to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. With over 900 attendees and 50+ speakers, the atmosphere was electric. For the ninth consecutive year, we were proud to support the event with full audiovisual production across all rooms, helping bring powerful conversations, creative insights, and genuine connections to life.

A big shoutout to everyone involved, including organizers, speakers, attendees, and behind-the-scenes teams. It’s always an honour to be part of events that connect people and inspire collaboration.

That’s a wrap on the G7 Summit 2025 in Kananaskis, Alberta!

Proshow Audiovisual is honoured to have been entrusted with delivering comprehensive AV services for this historic event. From audio distribution and sound reinforcement to Bosch conference microphones and simultaneous interpretation systems, broadcast lighting, and full-scale video production, distribution, and streaming — we had it covered.

Over nearly three weeks, our incredible team of technicians dedicated hundreds of hours across venues in Banff, Kananaskis, and Calgary to ensure every word spoken by world leaders was seen and heard clearly — in up to 10 languages — by all stakeholders.

LOOK25 Gala: Noir Nouveau brought Calgary’s contemporary art community together in unforgettable fashion with over 1,000 guests in attendance, and we were proud to play a part behind the scenes.

Hosted at Contemporary Calgary, the annual LOOK Gala is one of the city’s most anticipated fundraising events and raised a record breaking $1.2 million this year in support of the gallery's exhibitions and public programs.

As the event moved from floor to floor, starting with dinner, followed by the auction, and ending with the after party, our team provided support across the three key areas, helping ensure a seamless and engaging visual experience from beginning to end.

Huge congratulations to the team at Contemporary Calgary and all the partners who made LOOK25 such a success. We’re always grateful to help shine a light on creative events that make a difference in our communities.

Last week, the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation announced a record $60-million donation to establish the Dilawri Cardiovascular Institute.

This transformational gift from the Dilawri Automotive Group’s charitable foundation is the largest in the history of VGH and UBC Hospital and will fund the creation of the new institute.

Proshow proudly provided audiovisual support for the unveiling, ensuring the announcement was delivered with both clarity and impact. Our LED wall, built 6 tiles high by 16 tiles wide with a 2.5-degree curve, helped transform the intimate pop-up space in the park into a captivating, immersive environment for everyone in attendance.

We’re proud to have contributed to this meaningful milestone for healthcare in British Columbia and to have worked alongside Together Creative, as well as a talented team of suppliers and partners who played vital roles in transforming the space into a truly memorable experience.

Calgary’s best in hospitality and tourism were celebrated at the 2025 White Hat Awards last month, and we were proud to be part of the magic behind the scenes, providing support for the evening and helping to shine a light on the nominees and winners who went above and beyond in tourism.

Winners who took the stage were selected from hundreds of outstanding frontline industry employees who consistently created unforgettable moments for guests and visitors. Among them was one of our own, Layne Greenway, who received an early nomination in recognition of his dedication, talent, and significant impact in the industry.

Congratulations to Tourism Calgary on another outstanding White Hat Awards, and to all the nominees and recipients. A big shout-out to our partners and crew who worked together to bring this celebration to life!

Last month, TED Conferences 2025 took over the Vancouver Convention Centre West, filling the space with future-shaping ideas, powerful recorded talks, and meaningful connection through curated workshops and immersive experiences.

To end the week, our client envisioned a space-themed celebration and turned to us to help bring it to life through our audiovisual support. Using one of our 17' x 82' curved projection screen and three Barco UDM 30K projectors, we projected high-resolution visuals of a spaceship window looking out into the stars, transforming the room into an otherworldly experience.

Moments like these happen through collaboration, and we’re incredibly grateful to our crew and partners for making it all possible!
