Natural Light vs. Artificial Light

Before we talk about light. Lets talk about SOOC (shot out of camera); it's simple all of my work with studio lighting out doors is all true colours with no enhancements.

Natural light is refreshing, dreamy and whimsical; especially when filters are used or the photographers editing style could introduce the manipulation of what the human eye sees.

Artificial light with the balance of natural light brings a timeless photograph that does not go through trendy periods in the photography industry.

With the correct balance of any light, along with the understanding on how to enhance a two dimensional image into a three dimensional image with on camera flash is not achievable; depending on your background/setting.

Playing with shadows and highlights on a subject to accomplish a three dimensional style with mood, edge and viewer interest is my style. I bring the studio to you and I talk to the sun to bring you true colours.

Let's go for the magazine cover and not the second page.

You Gotta Love Lake Huron

The ability to create art in the sand alone, the ability to feel free arms wide open or the ability to simply be yourself often gets lost in any form of relationships.

Does this portrait provide an example of a perfect balance? Just imagine if these two friends marry one day. If so I hope its on our beach; the one we call home. Will I witness it? Of course I'll photography it for free!

Who knows; however this image for me is a perfect example of a perfect friendship without the outside distraction that crashes relationships harder than an incoming wave off Lake Huron on a windy day.

Personally, I think some forget it's ok to do your own thing and thats when the waves crash harder and ruin a good thing.
