Fall and winter in Vancouver somethings get over looked when it comes to weddings when they shouldn’t be.
There are many perks:
- Lower rates for many venues when booked outside of peak season
- Availability of vendors and venues.
- Vancouver has many great all weather venues.

Cecil green is a great example. The house offers so many beautiful options for an indoor ceremony and reception.
Saturday full day rental:
High season $11,000
Low season 8,000

2026 bookings have started filling up and I must say I am happy to be returning to some my favourite spots with my favourite vendors.
This year has also added some great photo packages to access Vandusen which is such a welcome addition to their offerings!

Happy New Year !
I was recently asked what makes Timeless Affairs different from other planning companies-and at first I will admit I had to pause - of course we are highly experinced, we have been in the industry for over a decade.
But that wasn’t the question.
As I listened to the group talk about what their teams offered to have unique experiences I realized I was overlooking our unique skill of taking blank canvases and turning them into beautiful venues.
We have been very lucky to be trusted with numerous event where they are hosted in spaces that have never been used for an event before, and this is where we shine.
I have a fantastic partner in my husband who measures and then drafts all of my blank canvas sites - we then painstakingly design the floor plan and the magic comes to life.

As part of this discussion we talked about how we as planner are selling the invisible. People often say how grateful they are that they hired a planner after the wedding but how do we show what goes on behind the scenes. What goes into that beauty to instagram photo you see in your feed?

So for 2025 that is my goal - to show what happens behind the scenes.
