Spring has sprung and it's time for another FUNdraiser for the WILD Woman Bursary fund while also learning new things and hanging out!!!

We are offering a full-day in-person workshop (10 AM - 4 PM) to explore the transformative practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC)—a tool for deeper connection, more compassionate conversations, and navigating conflict with care.

Our day will include an introduction to NVC, including exploring why it’s such a powerful tool, along with interactive and engaging activities to put it into practice.

📅 When: Saturday, April 5th
📍 Location: Masham, QC - 30 min north of Ottawa (I will connect people for carpooling)
🍜 Lunch and snacks will be included
💰 Pay what you like/can – Donations will support both Emily (our facilitator) as a new woman entrepreneur and the Camp WILD Bursary, making camp more accessible to more women.

Meet Emily our facilitator!!!
Emily LeGrand is a long-time nonviolent communication student and enthusiast who is beginning to more formally offer the gift of NVC to others. She is an experienced and passionate project initiator, educator and facilitator who loves working where people, nature, movement and purpose meet, because that's where the magic resonant aliveness feeling happens.

And that’s a wrap on Camp WILD Winter! ❄️🔥✨

We’re back from another incredible gathering, and wow—what a weekend! We snowshoed, cold plunged, danced in the snow, drizzled syrup on the snow, made art, pressed buttons, laughed ‘til our cheeks hurt, and gathered around campfires (including one very satisfying burn the patriarchy fire on International Women’s Day 🔥) and so much more!!!

It was a reunion of old friends and the start of so many new friendships. Camp magic at its finest. ✨

Hey everyone! Camp WILD Winter (and September camp too) is so excited to be heading to a new site - RKY Camp!
😍 There are still some bunks open for Winter - March 7-9th and time is running out. Registration will close on Feb 21st!!!

Check out the photos below to get a bit of a feel for our new venue! Imagine this incredible space filled with all of our sparkle and shine!!! ✨

🛖 Heated cabins with bunk beds just a short walk away from the indoor washrooms with HOT showers!

🍴A beautiful dining hall where we will share our meals prepared by the amazing RKY team!

We are so excited to partner with the amazing team at the Ottawa Tool Library (OTL) for Camp WILD! They provide access to tools including a button maker!!!! And they've been supporting Camp WILD with use of this button maker since the beginning! These buttons add a little creative fun to our tech-free weekend!

And the Ottawa Tool Library is so much more than just a place to borrow tools. They’re a community-driven non-profit that provides a wide range of tools, expertise, and even workspace for your projects! 🧰🔨

🧵💚 Do you know EcoEquitable??

�They’re a local charity that’s doing incredible things—combining textile waste reduction with women’s empowerment through the art of sewing! And we are so proud to have them as a partner at Camp WILD! 🌿✨

Not only do they rescue fabric that would otherwise be discarded, but they also equip newcomer women with sewing skills through their Sewing for Jobs program. This helps these amazing women gain confidence, financial independence, and build community.

Part of Camp WILD, is going on a digital detox, so each camper receives a cell phone sleeping bag—designed and sewn by incredible grads from EcoEquitable’s program! 📱💤 Post camp these can be continued to be used to tuck the phone away, or for other trinkets, or as gift bags!

We are BACK from another unforgettable weekend at Camp WILD! 🌲✨

And what a weekend it was, full of laughter, connection, and celebration!

We nourished our bodies with amazing food and our souls with meaningful conversations. We celebrated each other and ourselves. We felt the power of a pause and the freedom in taking up space. And as we settle back into our lives I hope that we all remember that any time can be dancing time.

Giant love whooshes and gratitude to every woman who co-created this magical weekend. Thank you for bringing your full self and sharing your heart. 💜
