“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue…”

A tradition we’ve all heard—but I’m loving how today’s couples are reimagining it with intention and meaning.

In 2026, it’s going to be less about checking boxes and more about storytelling. About weaving tiny threads of your life, your love, and your lineage into the design of your wedding day.

Something Old becomes a vintage perfume bottle, a handwritten note from a grandmother tucked into your bouquet, a family heirloom hairpin styled in a modern way.

Something New looks like bespoke accessories, custom stationery, or a fashion-forward second look designed just for you.

Something Borrowed has shifted into emotional borrowing—your friend’s lucky charm in your clutch, your sister’s veil for a portrait moment, your mother’s favorite song played quietly while you get ready.
