If you are working with a venue that offers a full table setting as part of your wedding package, it can be really tempting to use the included product because it’s “free” but at the same time, then your wedding will look like everyone else’s that gets married at that venue. The place setting will be totally standard and the same for every event client. That’s why, when I’m consulting on wedding design, I like to make a couple of small upgrades but still use some of what the venue has in inventory. This is a great way to bring in an accent colour or texture without completely duplicating efforts and renting in an entirely new and different tablescape. It’s a good middle ground solution that I do allllll the time as a wedding consultant ✨

I’ll give you the same advice I would give to any of my full planning clients and treat our hour like a regular planning meeting. We can chat about venue sourcing, design concepts, floorplan development, itinerary or truly anything else wedding related. If you’d like a little help and/or advice but don’t feel that a full, traditional wedding planning package is for you, I am here to help you at a price point that fits within any wedding budget. You can book power hours as you need, when you need, and there’s no commitment. Each meeting is 60 minutes, offered remotely and comes with meeting notes about all we discussed.
