Perhaps our most dramatic transformation to date! I lost count of the number of times I said some version of “trust me”, “you’ll love it”, “we’ll make it work”. Grateful for trusting clients with great taste and a cool vision and a fabulous team of vendors that work with me seamlessly to make events like this happen. This kind of transformation is NOT easy but it is soooo worth it.

Let this be a reminder that chartreuse and burgundy are BEAUTIFUL together and that what matters is that you are excited about your wedding choices, whether they are on trend or classic. I’m realizing that creating something visually “current” while incorporating personal touches is my fave way to design. L&B, you were such delightful collaborators, thanks for having me 🤍.

If you are working with a venue that offers a full table setting as part of your wedding package, it can be really tempting to use the included product because it’s “free” but at the same time, then your wedding will look like everyone else’s that gets married at that venue. The place setting will be totally standard and the same for every event client. That’s why, when I’m consulting on wedding design, I like to make a couple of small upgrades but still use some of what the venue has in inventory. This is a great way to bring in an accent colour or texture without completely duplicating efforts and renting in an entirely new and different tablescape. It’s a good middle ground solution that I do allllll the time as a wedding consultant ✨
