You wouldn’t know by looking at this image that we had an unexpected torrential downpour during our shoot. But that’s what we do in the events industry - we make magic happen ⭐️ There was no sign of the rain stopping and we were so close to not being able to capture these stunning details. Then, for literally 6 mins we had a break in the clouds and everyone instinctively went into event mode. It was all hands on deck moving chairs into position, mopping up as much water so that we could get just a few pictures of all the hard work put into creating this setting. The results are above ⬆️

Who said Family Rooms can’t be transformed? If you didn’t know, you would think this beautiful ceremony was taking place at an event venue. In the early stages of the pandemic the only venue possible was E+L’s private home. With spatial planning and dimension, this room was transformed to a perfect Spring time setting. The Palki was transitioned to a Mandap with ease to accommodate both Sikh + Hindu ceremonies 💕

This year we’ve really had a chance to celebrate just how lovely al fresco dining can be. What is al fresco? Literally meaning “in the cool air” BUT it’s more than just that for us - it’s a whole experience when done right. Wow it’s September! With uncertainty still in the air in the months to come, we know many of you are in the midst of last-minute events and in knee-deep planning mode so this week we’re sharing our Go-To planning tools - you got this!!!
1️⃣ you can save everything from doodles, to pics of business cards, PDFs and voice recordings. It organizes everything into notebooks with tags making it indispensable for anyone planning multiple events.
2️⃣ a workable solution if you don’t want to learn a new software. A simple place to store excel sheets, word docs and pictures with your planning team without emailing large files.
3️⃣ is a free money management site: easy to use, syncing with your bank account and credit cards so you can monitor your spending and move funds around as needed. Create a wedding budget and stay on track, thanks to weekly email summaries and text reminders when payments are due.
4️⃣ Pantone Studio allows you to snap a photo, and the app will identify the exact color. For anyone struggling to pick a palette or letting their wedding party choose their own looks "as long as they're seafoam green," this is a must.
5️⃣ works with graphic designers to offer chic, ready-made invites and stationery. Templates can be customized, down to the card size and paper stock. If you’re on a tight budget this may be the way to go - you can even print your suite at home or take the file to a local print shop.
6️⃣ UberEVENTS lets you manage how, when, and where guests ride through a promo code. You only pay for rides that are used, and you can set a budget for how much you would like to cover. Guests don’t have to feel restricted by a shuttle schedule and you don’t have to create one! The UberX option can be up to 40% cheaper than taxis and significantly less than shuttles, valet, or host paid parking.

The finale to R+J’s Marbella destination wedding was their first dance by the moonlit sea. Guests were escorted to an after party location and were surprised with a Spanish flamenco performance - also we love that we actually use 💃🏽 in its truest sense🥂

As a wedding planner one of the best moments is that short window of calm, when everything is set and you have a minute to soak in your surroundings, what you’ve accomplished and the milestone that you’ll forever be apart of. The morning of R+J’s wedding, as hidden beams of sunlight shone down on their ceremony, we were proud and grateful that we had produced our first wedding in Europe! 💁🏽‍♀️
