It's definitely more expensive to host meetings and events. The note to budget 20 - 30% more is a good one. For some events, we are budgeting 50% more in event costs.

These are chaotic times to be hosting events that require air transportation. Sadly for now, we must plan to manage around delayed attendees and speakers that are exhausted when they arrive.

Pilots for major airlines described opportunism and a desire to cut costs throughout the industry as worsening the situation travelers are facing today.
