Seeking INTERNs for 2018+ wedding season!
(IMPORTANT - Please note that this is an UNPAID internship. However, you will be well fed, educated, provided travel reimbursements as incurred and share equally in any gratuities provided by clients. Reference letters for future employers will also be provided. You will be required to work specific weekend dates as arranged and are free to work other jobs as long as you can balance your responsibilities).
The intern will gain first-hand knowledge and experience of the wedding industry, and have opportunities to network with industry professionals such as venue managers, photographers, makeup artists, décor companies, caterers… etc. The intern will work closely with a certified wedding planner of 10+ yrs of experience, to execute clients’ visions of their special celebration.
Interns looking at this opportunity would have a personality that includes but not limited to the following:
- Values and desires the satisfaction of their clients and their guests. Ie. Seeing them happy and willing to go the extra mile for them.
- Have a professional and helpful attitude when solving questions, complaints, or service issues. Ie. Understanding that it is an important day for a client, and accept their emotions may be running high.
- Be organized, efficient, and a team player. Ie. Arriving early, ready to go, with all materials prepared.
Previous event planning experience is an asset
Applicants must be 19 or older and hold a valid driver’s license (Having a vehicle, or access to a vehicle is preferred, but does not limit an applicant)

A Cover Letter - 500 words max detailing why you would be a great intern and most importantly what do you want to learn from this opportunity. (Example - How to plan a wedding, how to run a business, even how to do your taxes)
A resume detailing prior experience - LIMIT 1 PAGE or at most 2.5 mins if you send a video resume.
